I wanted to create a section for the Holiday's and Events instead of having them jammed into a single thread.

And I also wanted to change the format for the Information page because, the center margined text is...well, hard to read (in my eyes)

Alright - So, I was seriously considering, remaking the Holiday Event discussion - I know it appeared to be very inactive but most of that was preparations for the future.

So, any ideas on what kind of holidays we should have? I was thinking about having some kind of event once a month - give people something to do from time to time.

Thoughts?

I know about the Harvest Festival and had a thread made for it, I meant other events - like how the US seems to have a holiday once a month. IDK if you guys don't like the idea just say so

Hmm...Do they even have seasons o_O?

When I think of festivals, I think of the Japanese kinds but I don't know how we're going to incorporate that... Would you want to make it a celebration or more of a competition?

As for other holidays...
I have no idea... I'll get back to you if I get a spark.

Well I think they do, they have a harvest festival which implies they have harvest season. Which means fall.

I also know they were awfully surprised in one manga when it snowed in Mangolia, so they might not have cold, snowy winters there like they do where I live.

We could have Japanese like holidays, and Japan also has four season, and I know they have seasonal holidays, amongst others. So with some research we could make Japanese inspired holidays.

I was making American/European styled Holidays because, I live in America and i'm more familiar with those holidays and seasonal celebrations that we have here.


There are also events that Fairy Tail hosts, like the beauty contest, that 24 hour race thingy, the Fantasia Parade. And apparently whenever big name members of the Guild Fight, its something of big deal, so we could have a Fighting Festival, without the threat of death by explosion.

I'm sure there's lots of stuff we can come up with.

I have a Harvest festival idea, which would include the Fantasia Parade. there would be...well food contests games and maybe a pumpkin carving thing ( I am combining idea from various fall festivals I've gone to.
