ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments She smirked small while making her way down the hall and downstairs to get a weapon in hand. Of course she could construct one while having him follow her but that would be to easy. She kind of wanted to play a game and oh boy did she love games. Camille merely took out a knife she had underneath her dress this whole entire time with a slight grin. Well I guess change of plans after all. She merely chuckled.

Maybe you should've thought of that from the get go. We tried to make peace with you lycans but you know how werewolfs are? Very temperamental and if they can't have what they want they steal other's preys. What a pity because I wonder what would happen if I killed you vs a vampire? Would your blood be any different. Then again we wanted peace but you didn't care. None of you did and now you are just going to ruin what we worked hard for. If I stand alone tonight I'm going to let the peace happen. I'm not letting my family die in vain for the likes of you. Camille hissed.

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) You can't protect them. You think I came here alone? Elias knew he might be giving too much away, but he couldn't resist taunting her. The hallway was all but empty, and as soon as they cleared the ballroom Elias took off running, and gained on her more and more. He pulled a long knife out of it's sheath and held it ready. He needed to finish this fast, before she could warn anybody. Your people treat mine like animals. You slaughter innocent people for fun. Your time to rule is over, princess.

((So, I'm thinking of a few options here.
1. They fight, Elias knocks her out, but he can't bring himself to kill her so he takes her captive instead.
2. They fight, Camille knocks him out, he gets put in prison.
Also, should any of her family members actually be killed by the other wolves?))

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [I like option one and maybe two or three get killed. Maybe Xavier because he was close to her?]

Camille got her heels off and started running as fast as she could while trying to use her magic to distract him. Such as fire for instance to block him from trying to get near her.I should've known from the get go to have my guards out in front of the castle. I knew this was going to happen but you don't seem to get the idea of waiting. All you lycans ever did was ruin the fae because we were stronger then you. Maybe you need to learn your place dog and obey. No one likes a dog that can't simply obey orders like you. And no I figured there were more. I did warn the guards to make sure if any lycan came through altering it's appearance with a potion. Don't think I'm that stupid. If you knew me better then you should say it. She chuckled in his mind while making it to the weapons room and locking it as she ran to get a sword and two knifes to strap to her waist.

You don't think you didn't slaughter any people as well or how vampires had ruled over your kind for ages? Such a pity because vampires seem to know hierarchy and politics better than you ever will dog. I'll make sure if I rule you will be leashed as a dog you are and be my pet. I'll play with you then throw you out. Camille spoke almost sultry like as she changed her outfit with the mask gone.

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) ((Okay!))

Elias charged straight through the fire, not even slowing down. It scorched his pants and he could feel the hair on his arms and legs start to singe, but luckily nothing caught. He snarled loudly, darting to the door she'd disappeared behind. He twisted the handle and slammed the door with his shoulder, but it didn't budge. Fuck, she'd locked it. He jammed his knife between the door and the frame, jerking it forward to try and break the lock. Good luck with that, princess, he scoffed, Is that one of your silly childish fantasies? You couldn't handle me if you tried.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments (view spoiler)

Camille smirked wickedly when he snarled."Good that will teach him a lesson."She muttered before just standing there with a sword in its sheath around her waist and two knife's around her legs with one knife she held in her hands while looking at her nails."Good luck? Who needs luck when I can use silver and oh so much more. Childish? Oh that's cute. I'm different then my brothers or sisters but if you think I couldn't handle you then you got another thing coming."She called out.

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) ((I love it!))

A second later, the lock snapped, sending the door flying open. Elias threw off his overcoat and scarf, then lunged, knife first, aiming for her neck. He didn't bother responding to her edging. He refused to lose this fight. He had on a tough leather vest under his shirt to soften any potential blows to his body, and knives strapped everywhere they would fit.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [Thanks! ^-^]

She was not expecting this guy to come off like this and she hoped her brother and other siblings made it out. If they didn't she would take her vengeance on them. Camille wouldn't last till they were all gone and instead of pitying herself she decided to fight this battle alongside the others. With a kick of her foot to his chest and her own knife she shoved him on his back."You'll have to try harder then that."Camille sat on top of his chest as she took her knife and slowly touched it to his forehead down till she made a mark into his cheek digging it down to his neck.

message 58: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias snarled, half in anger and half in pain when he felt the sting of her knife. His arm whipped up and he grabbed her wrist, twisting it backwards and forcing her to drop her knife. He could taste blood, but he ignored it, using adrenaline to fuel his body. He rolled to the side, throwing Camille to the ground, then rolled on top of her. Blood dripped down onto her face and into her hair. Using one arm, Elias pinned her arms above her head, pushing down with bruising force so she could not slip away. With the other, he reached for his knife.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments She glanced slightly up to see he grabbed her by the wrist and twisted it backwards. He was stronger and faster than her so she would give him that much but she wouldn't let him kill her or the rest of her family. However when, Elias threw her on the ground and got on top of her she tried to wriggle out of his grasp and couldn't. Camille tried her best to kick him in the leg or bite but it didn't work."You aren't going to win this. I guarantee it dog. If I die there will be others to take my place."She growled.

message 60: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) "Then we can take them out as well," Elias growled back, breathing hard. Finally, he could get this over with. He raised the knife, staring into her eyes and... hesitated. This was supposed to be the easy part, but looking at the princess now, he couldn't bring himself to take her life. Her words were like acid, but he could see a hint of fear in her eyes. He closed his eyes, hoping it would be easier if he couldn't see her, but it didn't help. With a defeated sigh, he lowered the knife, but did not loosen his grip on her hands. "You don't deserve to die like this," he said softly.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments "How about I take out your family or pack? Taking out the royal family will do no good. It only stalls time just like you are."She whispered before feeling his eyes upon hers and seeing how he could detect her fear. She may have been strong but somehow deep down she was scared to die and lose, Xavier in the process. Her eldest brother but the only one she had a bond with. If it was true like Camille was feeling it then her bond with him was slowly fading like her strength in a way. She glared at him while trying to struggle free of his grasp which wasn't working.

She glanced the other direction while quivering slightly while biting her lower lip as she tried her best to not cry. Crying would show weakness and Camille would hate to show it. She really would to this guy.

message 62: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias's face hardened again when she mentioned taking out his family. "I've already lost enough of my family because of you," he growled, though he couldn't stop his voice from shaking. He shook his head to clear it. He couldn't stall any longer. He held the knife up again, but rather than plunging it into her heart he tossed it into the air. He caught the blade upside down and with one hard blow, slammed the hilt into the pressure point at the side of her head.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments When she heard him say, "I've already lost enough family because of you" it hit close to home. Not saying that she hadn't killed his family or his people but she already saw her brother, Xavier lose his grasp of reality versus fantasy because of this fighting. She may have been cold hearted and cruel like any other but she still wanted her old brother who took care of her and protected her from all this bloodshed and politics but it was only a matter of time before she grew up to see it. Maybe this was both of their times to die. Knock out Xavier and Camille and you already scored your way to killing all the rest of the royal family and winning over the fae. Her other brothers and sisters were easy targets versus her and her brother on the other hand. Just maybe it was time to let the lycans rule and take over the system. Just maybe it was time for the dogs to rule.

She didn't think she could be so blind to this. So blind to the fact this invasion was happening slowly that she didn't recognize it at all. Maybe Camille should've died from the get go. Camille though wasn't paying attention to what he was doing till she felt the side of her head got slammed with the hilt of his knife.

Xavier wherever you are please stay strong for me. For us. For the whole family. Don't die. Everyone needs you. I did but look at me. Just take care of everyone when I'm gone. She told him through his thoughts with her voice showing worry and sadness before her eyes closed in on themselves.

message 64: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias took a deep breath, staring down at the unconscious faerie. Now what? He couldn't bring himself to slit her throat, but he couldn't leave her alive after all they'd done leading up to this moment. He stood up, stepping over her prone body to grab the knife he'd dropped in the fight. He had to think fast. He picked up the red scarf he'd thrown off, then crawled back over to Camille. He turned her on her side and tied her wrists together behind her back, pulling the scarf tight so she wouldn't be able to wiggle free. That's when the shouting started.

A piercing scream sounded from somewhere across the castle, on the other side of the ballroom. Elias heard pounding footsteps, watching as three faerie guards ran past, headed for the sound. At least one of his pack brothers had been successful. He was great full for the distraction. Without thinking too much into it, he grabbed Camille by her waist and threw her over his shoulder. He peeked out into the hallway to make sure it was clear, then took off running, headed for the front gates. It might be conspicuous, but it was the only exit he knew about and he didn't want to get last and trapped in the castle.

Camille was so light, he had no problem shifting her around as he wiggled out of his shirt, then his pants. As soon as he was free he shifted. Holding his clothes in his mouth and with the princess slung over his shoulder, he leaped over the low palace gate, finally free in the surrounding forest.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [I loved that post like a lot. <3 I think I re-read that like three times. >.>]

Even though she was unconscious somehow when she was being dragged out by the lycan she heard a piercing scream and tried her best to open her eyes to catch a glimpse of who got killed. And the blurry sight she could tell was her brother with his dark brown matted with blood and a sword through his chest. Camille was trying her best to gain consciousness again but it was no use. Maybe because of her strength or the bond her brother and she had.

Camille was already breathing shallowly and whatever strength she did try to fight this guy it didn't work with her wrists tied. But she did have some strength to push herself to wake up and see a closer view which made her mouth partially open in a gasp."Xavier! Xavier!"She screamed in despair as she tried to get out of his grasp."No not you Xavier! Arabelle? Quinten? Samuel?"She screamed while shedding tears. But all of that strength she had was slowly dying as her eyes closed in on themselves again and groaned as the pain came rushing back and her body stayed still against him.

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) ((Aww, thanks!))

Elias was panting by the time he'd run far enough away that he wouldn't be caught by a stray guard. He stopped, shrugging Camille off of his shoulder. He was supposed to meet up with his pack at a rendezvous point about two miles south of the Faerie palace, but he was all turned around from the chase. Which way was south? This part of the forest was unfamiliar, and he needed the sun to be able to orient himself again. Damn, he'd have to wait until morning. He sighed, pawing at the ground to soften it up, then shifted back to his human form. His joints popped as they moved into place. He had no problem being naked, but he didn't want to make it weird if Camille woke up, so he pulled his clothes back on with a sigh.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [You're welcome. ^-^ I'm not for sure if I should just make up a reply or wait till she becomes conscious. For one I'm not sure how to reply or make it lame let alone just making it up as I go along.]

message 68: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) ((When do you want her to wake up? I'm fine with anything. She could do it now, and they could spend some time chatting? Or we can wait till Elias gets her back to his pack?))

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [Maybe wait till he gets her back to his pack? And talk later?]

message 70: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) ((Okay :) ))

Elias couldn't sleep that night. He didn't want to be off his guard in Faerie territory, especially not when Camille might wake up at any moment. He kept an eye on her throughout the night, watching her sleep, moving a hand to his knife whenever she stirred. Did faeries usually take this long to wake up after they'd been knocked out? His kind was up again in a matter of minutes. Then again, his kind healed quickly.

He walked over to where Camille was slumped on the floor and moved her to what he hoped was a more comfortable position. She was still breathing, that was good. He opened one of her eyes, checking the dilation. Good. As far as he could tell, she should be fine as soon as she woke up. Elias wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not, given what had happened at the palace, but he'd take it.

After a few hours, the sun finally started peeking over the mountains in the east. Elias looked up at the few rays of sunlight, smiling. Finally, he could leave and meet up with his pack. He stood up and stretched, then started stripping again. He could cover the ground much faster in his wolf form. He put his clothes back in his mouth, threw Camille over his shoulder again, then shifted into a massive wolf. He took off running, heading southwest, back to the rendezvous point.

It wasn't long before Elias could pick up traces of the other wolves in the woods. Fenix made it out, and Strom, but he couldn't pick up Alder's scent. He must have taken a different way back. Elias didn't want to think of the other possibility.

((Do you want to temporarily be one of the wolves and play through this part a little, or do you want me to just keep going?))

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [Sure! I can play Strom or Fenix if you would like? I'm assuming that Alder either got wounded or died? I'll probably play Camille as well when playing them but it would look stupid. So I can play one of them and her at the same time.]

message 72: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) ((Yeah, either one would work. Maybe Fenix cause he's the leader?))

Elias paused a few yards outside the clearing. He was hesitant about bringing the princess here at all, but if his crew saw that she was alive and here, they would tear out her throat. He shifted back to his human form. He would need hands for this. He found a relatively small tree and laid Camille against it, then untied her hands. He pulled her arms back again, retying the scarf to keep her stuck around the tree. That should do it. He hoped she would be okay here. Not bothering to shift back, he walked the rest of the way as a man, keeping his clothes off just in case he needed to shift quickly. It was a common habit among Lycans. Honestly, he thought he'd seen his brothers without clothing more often than he'd seen them with it.

"Fenix," he called softly, stepping out of the trees, "How did everything go? Where's Alder?"

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [Being Fenix sounds fine. I think maybe next post I'll play Camille. ^^ Sorry I haven't replied yet. I've kind of been distracted on/off.]

message 74: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) ((It's all good, I'm not in a hurry :) Just let me know if you need anything else on my end.))

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [Okay. ^-^]

Fenix looked at, Elias before sniffing the air and silently growled at the fact that his younger partner was this stupid to bring back a royal member but that would be delt with later. Besides he, Strom, and Elias had to worry now about the other royals that survived and figuring out how to make sure there would be no war with the lycans. All in all it would probably be inevitable but he knew his race needed to fight back. Fight back strong and show who was doing the killing and not having this stupid peace treaty with the vampires.

These vampires only did to make sure behind the fae's back that they could use lycans to their advantage whether it be a slave or more. He was so preoccupied thinking about that and the smell of a princess he could smell and probably detect. With that in mind he took a deep breath and raked his hand through his hair.

"How did everything go you say? How did everything you go you ask Elias?!"Fenix walked directly over to him with bitterness and anger clearly showing."Alder was hurt by trying to kill the eldest of the siblings. Xavier. Xavier though put on a pretty good fight with, Alder and I was trying to take down two others but I was somewhat paying attention to Alder. From what I saw Xavier looked dead and wounded Alder pretty badly with a wound to the heart, leg, and neck. As far as I know now it's just the three of us."He said quite sharply."As for you Elias why did you dare bring princess Camille here? Was she important to you or something? Well no matter. We can just use her to side with us and manipulate her if we to. Just a bonus for us then."Fenix chuckled darkly.

message 76: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias's eyes grew wide as Fenix spoke. Alder was gone? No, he couldn't be. Alder had been the best fighter out of all of them. Elias had seen him take on a dozen Vamps at once and barely break a sweat. And shit, he'd forgotten how good Fenix's sense of smell was. He glanced down at his feet, then back up to meet his captain's eyes. "I'm sorry I didn't let you know before, sir. I saw one of the princesses run, and I didn't have time to get to her. I took princess Camille captive to use as leverage. They won't attack us if they know we'd kill her. And we can use her as bait to trap the rest of the royals. Take them out while we still have a card to play." He hadn't planned on this when he'd done it, but now that he thought it through it made a lot of sense. More sense than any other reason. Good. "I left her tied up a few yards away. She's been unconscious for the past few hours."

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments Fenix could read Elias like a open book. Maybe he could because he was exactly like a open book. He did after all took him under his wing when was only thirteen. Kind of sad to see Elias so desperate but also without a family. Then again Fenix treated him like a younger brother."It's fine. Don't be sorry. Besides we could definitely use her for leverage. Well it was a interesting twist to take Camille versues the others. But then again she is quite clever and daring just like her brother Xavier. I didn't know she had a weak side till I read her profile though."He spoke softly before taking a soft sigh and glancing over to where Camille was tied to a tree."Well it seems like she's waking up. I would go over there or otherwise she'll wake and want to kill you as well as Storm and I."

Camille was slowly waking up before picking her head up to look around her and her surroundings. All she could tell was she was knocked out for a few minutes or what felt like a few hours. All she could tell was she was tied down to a tree in what must've been the forest between the fae kingdom and the others. When she did hear though two other guys talking she knew she was captured by the lycans. Just what she needed. They would use her to their advantage and she didn't want to be part of it so she tried wriggling free of the ropes that tied her down or using magic and nothing worked at all.

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias glanced back the direction he'd come. He could hear a slight shuffling, the sound of someone struggling to get free, "Yes sir," he nodded, looking back up at Fenix, "We should get back home before they come looking for her." He took a few steps back to the tree line, pulling his black pants on again as he walked. He could see her now, covered in shadow, with her back to him. She looked so small, so feminine. How could something that delicate be so deadly?

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [Want me to still play Fenix or no?]

Camille stopped when she felt someone preying eyes upon her. She glanced down slightly as her eyes turned lilac which never turned that color unless she was upset like right now. It was hearing about Xavier dead that really did it. How could this happen? Just how could their parents be so oblivious to this? Even she felt it. Unless they wanted it to happen. Camille shook it off and conjured a sharp icicle knife which she used to cut the ropes and then turned to make her way to where Elias was."Take another step and I'll make sure you're dead and so is your pack. If not that I will make sure the guards hear about this. So I would choose wisely."She spoke softly.

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) ((Up to you. We're probably good for now, but feel free to jump in with him if you think it fits))

Elias smirked, crossing his arms in front of his bare chest. He'd taken her down before, he had no doubt he could do it again. Especially now that they were on his turf, where he could shift at any time. "Very cute, princess." He said, half serious, half mocking, "You're not going anywhere. If you don't set the ice down on your own, I'll have to make you, and you'll just end up getting hurt." He didn't want to have to hurt her. Yet, anyway. He knew she would eventually have to die, but he put that thought aside. War never came without casualties, and if he wanted to avenge his parents and sister, the Faerie rule would need to die.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [Okay will do. ^^]

Camille never liked lycans and maybe it was for the fact that they always mocked faerie's and never took her or species seriously. Either because of their height or how they didn't seem capable of anything. As of right now all she wanted was this guy dead and dead as anyone could be. If what she heard about her brother Xavier being dead she wasn't going to let this guy get go if she had the last say. "Don't ever call me that word ever again."She said through gritted teeth."Now I know why my parents and brother hated lycans like you especially because you all thought you were better then anyone and also because you never took faerie's seriously. And perhaps you always mocked us. I hate dogs like you so much and if I have anything to say about it I'm going to make sure you die. But hey I'm not putting the ice down. Want to know why? I'll show you."Camille said half bitterly and half laughing as she showed him a silver necklace wrapped around it."I don't care if I get hurt. You took my brother from me and the same with my other siblings and parents. Bleeding is nothing compared to losing family. You probably don't get it then again you might. Maybe I should show you."She stated through gritted teeth as she started running towards him with the ice knife wrapped with silver around it and a fire sword in another hand. She really didn't like him but he had to pay especially for hurting Xavier and with that in mind she shoved the ice knife in his chest and did a flip in mid air before shoving the fire sword in his back and landing on the ground behind him.

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias screamed out in pain, the sound ripping into a ferocious snarl. She thought she was the only one who'd lost family to this? Just like the spoiled princess he knew she was, only caring about herself. Couldn't she see that everyone in the land would be better off without the Faerie rule?

He quickly took stock of his injuries. No vital organs damaged, that was good, but he was losing too much blood. The silver necklace that had been stabbed inside him was preventing him from healing, or shifting. He managed to extend his fingernails into sharp claws, then tore them across his own chest, leaving three deep gashes. His claw caught the loop of the necklace and he dragged it out, flinging the bloody jewelry onto the ground. Finally, he could feel his muscles start to stitch together again. With another roar, he shifted into a massive chocolate brown wolf and turned on Camille. He leaped in her direction, claws barred.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments [Sorry I've been busy with stuff lately.]

Camille turned around to see him before running up to a tree and climbing it one branch at a time till she sat on it looking down at him."I read your mind boy and I know what losing family does to people. As much as I hate your kind no one deserves to lose family. Especially a mother, father, and brothers to sisters. But then again it doesn't matter does it? You were bound to kill me as is. Takes part of the problem away so no royal is in the way of it. Didn't need to tell me twice to figure it out. But your holding back aren't you? What are you so afraid of my dear boy?"She held onto the branches while still looking up at him.

"Oh I bet because you don't want to lose your pack? Or is it you can't kill me? You can't kill someone whose trying to survive and just loved her family like you do? That's probably it."

message 86: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) ((That's okay! We all go through busy spells :) ))

Elias tried hard to ignore the taunting. God, why was she acting so high and mighty? She was younger than he was! He snarled again, directing a thought at her that he knew she could hear. You don't have to die in this war. But you will need to change your rule. Do you even know what your father, he spat the word, a growl escaping his throat, has been doing with his power? Have you ever set foot outside your own perfect kingdom? The world outside was falling apart. Families were being torn apart, friendly bonds broken. It was as if the king wanted not only to destroy any potential threat, but also any idea of hope.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments Camille bit her lip and glanced down at him. Did she know what her father was doing with his power? Of course she did. He told her he was going to make peace with the vampires but also lycans. She didn't see this coming from a mile away. Or rather she did but was blind to the fact she trusted him. She just shook her head and tried to not think of past memories but that was inevitable.

I know exactly what he's doing. But I was blind to the fact he told me he was going to help lycans and vampires alike to be on equal grounds. But everyone knows your kind and vampires would never get along. Whether from the beginning of time to end of time. And as to your question about setting foot out of the kingdom I have. I was like you and kind of still am with anger but to hurt my father and others. You wouldn't get it but when I was little I had a friend I met here in this exact forest. A werewolf to be exact. I would always leave my studies and come to explore the forest whether it was hunting or finding him. He showed me parts I never thought possible. Later it blossomed to more then friends but someone caught on and I was forever unable to visit him. My father killed or so I heard. I wanted to help but I was blind in my passion. Enough of it. It wouldn't matter.

message 88: by Kit Orellana (new)

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias paused, front paws up on the tree so he was mostly standing, and stared up at Camille. She'd taken a Lycan as her lover? With all the hatred he could feel radiating from her he almost couldn't believe it. If you were once in love with one of our kind, why do you hate Lycans so much? His tone was a bit softer now, curious. We've all lost loved ones because of your father's uncaring hand. I'm just trying to make sure no one else has to go through that.

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments Camille looked down at him slightly while raking her hand through her hair. She couldn't help but laugh softly while shaking her head slightly before glancing back down at him with a hand to her mouth. He seemed so much like her. Elias to say the least. Which made her give a sad smile while shedding tears that trickled down her cheeks.

Why do I hate Lycans so much? Well maybe it's not the fact about hating them it's the fact that I lost someone I loved and blamed anyone who seemed reasonable. No that doesn't sound right. Truly it was that when I broke the rule about not being able to see him and running to where he lived I got called a killer. Just seducing him and nothing else. How would you feel knowing that someone didn't believe you when they were told a lie? No matter what you say they inveitably don't believe you. But somehow I'm kind of happy he's gone. Dead rather unless that's a lie. Maybe...No not maybe he deserves that. As much as I want to be mad I can't. Maybe because you remind me of him in some ways. Maybe I just want to see people get better not worse.

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias' tail swished as he stared up at her. The cuts on his chest and back were healed enough now that he could move freely without hurting himself. With a little gruff of acknowledgement, he shifted back to his human form, keeping his hands on the tree. He tilted his head up so he could see her, "I'm sorry you had to go through that," he said softly. In this moment, she felt less like an enemy, and he felt like they were forming some kind of truce. The tension was still there of course, as if any wrong movement would have them at each other’s throats again. "You can help us, if you want to. You can take the throne and stop the regulatory slaughters, and the discrimination. We can help you, if you join the cause."

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments Camille couldn't help but laugh softly. He was so daring. So outspoken and different. But he was so much like Aiden. Just mentioning his name made her cringe with sadness. Just the mere thought of him actually being dead kind of scared her and shook her to a whole new level.

She put both hands on either side of her legs which helped push her to jump and land right beside him."You don't have to be sorry. It wasn't your problem nor was it but I guess a thank you nonetheless."She gave a slight smile. He didn't know her pain and he didn't have to sorry. Maybe he wanted to. Or maybe he could relate to her pain in one way or another."So you're going to help me get the throne while putting your life on the line? I don't know if I should say that's a bold move on your part but also getting what you want. But that seems to do. However I am considering it. Reason being is there should be no fear and worry towards another creature. Lessons rather school lessons should be taught and mandatory to know about other species. Not just there kind but how there's plays a affect. Elias you and I can discuss about a peace treaty or something along that lines for us to discuss but members of the other species has to sign. Otherwise punishment will just have to be made."Camille stated softly before glancing up at him and realizing how tall he was versus her."It would be best if I took the throne. The others would fail and it would be a total disaster waiting to happen."

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias nodded in agreement. He'd learned about the members of the royal family, and he knew that most of them had the same values as the king now. Camille was one of the younger daughters, and Elias guessed that she hadn't been trained quite as hard on how to follow in her father's footsteps. "I have a few conditions though, if you want to help us," he said, turning and standing his ground. He wouldn't let his guard down with her, not yet. "First and foremost, I don't trust you, and neither does my captain. You will remain a captive on the way back to our pack, and will have a guard with you at all times."

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments Camille gave a brief nod. She wouldn't blame them for having someone guard you at all times. Especially when you changed to a different side so easily as it would make it suspicious. But she was sincerely true in her words. When meeting Aiden he did opened her eyes to a whole new world and she wanted to go out grab all of that knowledge and use it to further better herself but also others."I wouldn't blame you but also fair enough."She said softly before looking up at him."I'm sorry if I'm asking this but did you ever know someone by the name of Aiden or heard of him? Truly I am sorry because you remind me of him so much."Camille laughed almost nervously as she raked her hand through her hair."Forget it. It doesn't matter unless you want to tell me."

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias thought back to his pack. There were almost 60 of them now as they kept taking in refugees, but he still knew each of them by name, "I've know two," he told her, "A father and son, actually. Aiden Sr. is the Beta of my pack. I didn't know his son very well, he was a few years older than I was, but everyone liked him." Elias paused for a moment before continuing, bowing his head in reverence, "He was killed a few years ago by a Faerie scouting party. It... wasn't pretty, when we found him. We though it was a warning."

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments Camille turned around so her back was facing him as she cupped her hand and started to cry before she fell down on her knees."None of this should've ever happen. None of this should've happened at all. I just wish I could've helped and made sure he was still alive. I-I just...Never mind. It doesn't even matter anymore."She took her hand off her mouth and tried to stay calm but staying calm was inevitable. Camille wished she could fix it. The only way was get her father out if he wasn't killed yet and take the throne while she had the chance. But also help the lycans while she also had a chance for that to.

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias stood frozen, watching as she broke down. Aiden hadn't been doing anything wrong. He was killed because he fell in love with the wrong girl. Camille had never been able to grieve with her father around. Luckily, Elias had sisters and he knew what to do around crying women. He knelt down next to her, still cautious, and gently rubbed her back, "It's okay," he said softly, "He was brave. And you'll be able to see him again in the spirit life."

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments Camille looked up at him slightly while trying to her best wipe the tears away."Even if he was brave he didn't deserve this. There was nothing wrong with him falling in love with me. Forbidden love happens all the time and my father ruined it. He always ruined the fun in everything. But I guess he's gone. I hope for the best." She whispered before she did something she'll probably regret which was resting her head against his shoulder. This was kind of new to her to do this. She fell in love with Aiden not Elias. But it felt like they were the same people just in two different bodies. Aiden would probably kill her if he saw this. Maybe she just needed someone new. Whatever the case was she would find out on her own."What do you mean see him in the spirit life? I have to kill myself to see him? I need to make it right again. Not just for him but lycans and everyone alike. You deserve a chance. Everyone does."

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias put his arm around her shoulders, enveloping her in a warm hug. Had she never heard of the spirit life? That was the only way he'd been able to cope with the loss of his parents and sister. He knew they were still here, watching over him from the other side. "Thank you," he said softly, "I know you've lost a lot, and I'm so sorry you had to go through that." He was silent for a moment, then said, "We might be able to send him a message, if his spirit is still around. The shaman back with my pack can help you reach him. So you can say a proper goodbye."

ᴀʀᴏᴛʜ [hiatus] (thelovelymsels) | 2641 comments Camille moved a bit closer to him with arms wrapped around his waist. She kind of felt bad she was starting to feel something for Elias but Aiden was gone. On the other hand Aiden would want her to enjoy herself and live it to the fullest and so she would."Yeah a lot but even though he's gone and Xavier I still have you. It sounds rather weird and foreign but you're as closest I have to Aiden but a different version. A version I rather enjoy."She whispered with a blush appearing on her cheeks."I never knew a thing like that existed. Well I'm happy you told me Elias."

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) Elias ran his fingers through her hair, not letting her see his face fall when she spoke. He didn't want to just be a replacement for her lover now that she knew Aiden was dead. He didn't want to be involved with women at all, for anything more than casual sex. And he especially didn't want to be with someone when he still wasn't completely convinced that she wouldn't slit his throat while he slept. As kindly as he could, Elias slid out of her grip and rose to his feet, serious again. "Come on," he said, looking back in the direction the other wolves had gone, "We can probably make it by lunchtime if we hurry."
