hey what do you people think of changing the last book into two movies
I think it is a good Idea and seems like it will make it better than it would

I think it's an Awesome idea because we'll get to see more in depth and because Mockingjay is a pretty long book (considering the plot). So much happens in the book that it's totally legit to convert it into two movies.

Yeah to me it was rushed and things happened to fast to let it fully sink in
To me this is how the books went
Book 1 this was a great start to the series and was put together quite well
Book 2 this was the worst book in the series. It seemed it had a problem with pacing things where done to fast or too slow and it ruined the book the movie fixed that.
Book 3 to fast she really needed 4 books to get it to work and with her working with the movie director it should stick closer to the book

It is annoying that they want two films out of this one book but I'm not against it. I'm thinking they'll add some things that wasn't in the book like scenes with Snow and his take on the rebellion and others things like with the first two films. Also maybe we'll see some of Peeta and Johanna after they were captured for part 1. Part 2 might deal with the entry and take down of the capital since I agree that in the book it was rushed.

Still looking for to it and hope they do it well.

My bet is on when Katniss gets shot in D2. It won't be a cliffhangar, since other people will be discussing that she'll survive, but it will take time for their mockingjay to get up..and it will end.

One of the complaints re. Mockingjay is the limitation of first person POV. The film version will be fleshed out more with multiple POV so more time is needed.

I think the division between 1 & 2 will be leaving for the Capitol. That divides the action bits equally in the two films and leaves plenty of room for the behind the scenes plotting and Katniss's trial.

But then the wartime in Capitol and the aftereffects of War will get a longer screen time. And if M1 ends there, M2 will focus more on how Katniss gathers herself and becomes a soldier (with Johanna), and finnick wedding will also be there, and in second movie the first time Katniss and Peeta will be seen together will be that one when peeta wants to talk to her (which will show a little improvement in peeta after a long time..). I don't know it just seems perfect timing for me..

I think they'll both be way too stretched out just so that they can make money. They could do Mockingjay in one movie and cut out all of the really boring parts like constant videos of Katniss and her constantly having to have her hair and makeup done.

I do think it would be perfect for them to end when Peeta starts strangling Katniss.

It does, however, annoy me when people who are too lazy to read the book talk about how bad the cliffhangers are. Seriously, just read the book. They aren't that long.

I disagree with you the book was rushed and even though they will cut that out hopefuly but they will need to streach out some things because as I said it seems rushed and also if you studyed it you would see that suzine collins is helping with the making it should be good
