"Oh yes. Pitying is a big thing too." She smiled. "And you totally asked for me to use my weather magic, Mister charming and good-looking." She laughed.

Jade thought about it. "Well, I've never tried to use fire before. I suppose I could. And yes. There are a few books here that I hate. You just didn't happen to grab any of them. I have a few books at my house that I would gladly let you burn to ashes."

Jade laughed and flew to grab her book that she was reading, then ran over to him. "They aren't to big, but I hope they'll do. Just follow me if you really want to." She smiled.

Jade grinned. "All right. Follow me." She lead him out of the library and towards her house.
((Thread change or no?))
((Thread change or no?))

((Sure! You want to post first?))
Jade laughed when she looked back through the windows to see everyone clutched their chests. She turned back around.
((Sure))
((Sure))
Jasper zipped in after his meeting with Jessica. He was looking for his little sister Jade, but he'd already tried every other place she might be so the library was he last hope. ((He's gonna be disappointed because Jade is waaaaayyyyyy far away from here XD))
While dashed between aisles, he about took off another guy's head. He decided he shouldn't be flying that fast and dropped to the ground, tucking his bat wings tight to his back. "Sorry," he apologized to the guy.
"No but my sister comes here often enough that I've learned enough about this place to work here." Jasper shrugged. "Jasper," he introduced himself. "Whaddya need?"
Jasper studied the ring for a moment. "Never seen anything like that... I guess you could look in the attic. There are some pretty weird books up there," he suggested.
Jasper looked straight up. "I can see how getting up there might be a problem for you now..." He frowned.
Jasper flapped up into the air and picked Matt up carefully in his sharp talons. He flipped open the little door with no landing in the ceiling and flung Matt inside. He shifted back to his demon/fairy form and followed to go turn on the ancient hand lamps hung everywhere.
"A hybrid sort of," Jasper answered casually, still turning the lights on. "My mother was a fairy. My father was a demon. That's where I got the dragon form and bat wings from."
AND THE OBNOXIOUS SECOND VOICE IN YOUR HEAD!! Flax chanted.
"I pretty much hate my father for the dragon bit."
Well excuse you! Frankly I'm hurt by that after I just helped you and Alessandra get together.

"That's a rare case." Jasper lit the last light and gestured around to the dusty shelves and scattered books and artifacts. "Good luck. This is the most scattered place in the whole library."
"My sister has searched every inch of this library. She likes showing me all of her favourite (I AM BRITISH SQUIGGLY LINE DON'T QUESTION ME!) spots so that if I need her I can find her." Jasper looked around and lightly tapped a black skull. "There's some pretty weird crap up here."
((Wonderful because Jasper is really persistent))
"Alright. But I've gone through most of these books. That one you're looking through right now doesn't have anything about a ring."
"Alright. But I've gone through most of these books. That one you're looking through right now doesn't have anything about a ring."
"She's not here. She would be up here if she was." Jasper pointed to a different stack of dusty old books. "Try those," he suggested, ignoring Matt's other comment.
Jasper didn't exactly know how to reply to that, so he just picked up a book and started skimming through it.
"Who says I'm helping you? Maybe I'm searching through these very ancient important knowledge holding books for my own purposes." Jasper smirked and continued scanning the book.
Jasper smiled self satisfactorily. He opened another book and frowned. "Is this your ring?" he asked, turning the book around to show Matt.
((*active OBNOXIOUS YOUNGER TEENAGE ATTITUDE*))
"Hm. Would yah look at that. You do need help." Jasper shrugs and put his hands up like in surrender. "But don't listen to me. I'm just an ignorant nineteen year old."

((I thought he was like twenty something...?))
"Like what?" Jasper asked, noting again that Matt had no wings and could not get down without his help.
"Like what?" Jasper asked, noting again that Matt had no wings and could not get down without his help.
((???))
"Well, Mister No Wings, how are you going to get down? It's way too far for you to just jump and I'm pretty sure that, since I had to get you up here, you don't have any way of levitation or flight to get you down."

((Odd child you are))
"Well until then, I'm not helping you down until you agree to let me help. I've mastered all fighting skills already so there isn't much for me to do besides stalk my little sister."

((LOL!!! Nooooope))
"Good. Because I actually was going to let you down either way." Jasper grinned and let Flax shift him again.

"Alright. Ask me anything and I'll answer truthfully." He held up two talons together. "Dragons honor."
That's a thing...?" Flax asked,
"It is now..."
That's a thing...?" Flax asked,
"It is now..."
"Uh... I can control fire, lightning, and I'm pretty sure I can inflict pain with my mind but I've only done it a few times and they might have been cases of correlation."
They weeerrreeennnn'ttttt!
They weeerrreeennnn'ttttt!
"Next piece of what?" Jasper asked, shifting back to his fairy/demon form, subtly informing Matt that he would not being getting down unless he explained.
