He didn't understand what was funny. He guessed laughing was better than crying. "So you never had any idea about why you were born in a palace? Do you think you were a princess?" She didn't look like one, but then he'd never seen one before.

She touched the door, it opened, they stepped through, and then the door closed behind them.
"If you ever want to go back, I can take you."
He nodded. He'd rather be alone but he wouldn't tell him the password. They weren't really even friends...he didn't think. "Okay." He rubbed his neck and went to look for a Grenith book.

"Oh, that's not a request we get very often," she said, "School project?" "No." "Follow me- what's your name?"
"Fae." "Beautiful."
The librarian led he past the sci-fi, the his-fic, and the picture book sections. On a shelf, mixed in with several botany books, was a book called 101 Ways to Weed. The librarian picked it up, opened it,turned to the back, and pulled out a small piece of paper. She whispered something, and it grew into a book. She handed it to Fae. The Lost Kingdom of Grenith. "Here," she said, "But bring it back in two weeks."
"Got it?" He asked as he walked over. "Uh do you still need my help? He looked for a book. Not to read but to get on the librarians nerves when he didn't bring it back, or when he brang it back it was slightly burned or wet. He smiled.

"Uh, got it," she said, "Do you want to look at it with me, or would you rather I left you alone and read it at home?"
Did he do something funny? He frowned again. "Uh if you want me to stay I can." He didn't know what to expect with that book. She probably wanted them there. If he was reading about his past for the first time he would want someone there even though he hated people. He looked at his feet.

"Gosh, look at the time," she said, "Dray'll be home soon, and he'll kill me if he finds out I came here. Apparently, it's 'too dangerous' to go anywhere he hasn't looked over first. Brothers."
She laughed. Before he could protest, she hugged him tightly, whispered "thanks" in his ear, and dashed out of the library, and headed for home.
He wrinkled his nose. Looked down at his chest. Did she just hug him? He didn't like hugs. He sighed. Now he had to shower, great. He groaned and picked out a random book. He went to the desk. The librarian gave him a dirty look but checked out the book for him. He slowly walked home with fire dancing around his fingers.

END ROLEPLAY
c u soon!
Lapis sat at one of the many desks. She had many books stacked up on either side of her. She leaned back on the chair with a thin book in her hands, her legs swinging back and forth as she read.

Lapis looked up from her book and smiled at the girl who had spoken. "Ya, it fine with me and kitty." She said as she put her book down on the table, making sure to mark her page. "What book are you reading?"

"Lycanthropy? What's that?" She asked looking closely at the book. She picked up her book and showed the girl. "I'm reading the Giving Tree, and kitty's reading Thumbelina." She said as she pushed one of the stacks of books to reveal a stuffed cat positioned to look like it was reading the open book in front of it.

"Oh, I know what where wolves are there are a few here, I've seen them before." She said nodding. "I think the Giving tree is a good book. I like to read it, it's my favorite. And Thumbelina is about a girl that was born from a flower and then met a fairy prince." She turned to face the girl. "They're going to get married but Kitty hasn't gotten that far yet so don't tell him." She whispered.

"Good, he hates when I spoil the ending for him. He gets so upset, one time I told him the ending to a book and he wouldn't play with me for a week." She said as she turned the page for the cat. "My name is Lapis Lalita. What's yours?" She asked, "Do I make you nervous? I know my kind don't have the best record but I promise I'm not like all the other. I don't kill people." She said smiling reassuringly at her.

"Nice to met you, Armina. I already figured out you were a werwolf when you told me what the book was. Why do people make you nervous? There's lots of nice people here. The only people that are here that aren't nice are the hunters. Oh, I almost forgot, I'm a Willow-of-the-Wisp." She said rambling slightly. "What are you doing with your arm?" She asked confused.

"Oh, I get it. You don't have to worry about anyone here hate in you for what you are. Lots of people here like werewolves." She said glancing down at Armina's arm. "Lots of people here have scars too. Lots of people fight Hunters and come back really hurt, or don't come back at all." She said with a slight shrug. "It's normal for us to have those." She jumped down form the seat and grabbed her cat with one hand and Armina's hand with the other. "I want to show you something. Would that be okay?"

She smiled, rolling her sleeve back down. She had only known this girl for a short while, and she had already made her feel a lot better than she had felt in a long time. "Thanks." She stood up from her seat. "Of course that would be okay." She sighed, smiling. "Man, it feels good to tell someone everything after all these years."
((It's fine! I don't mind!^-^))
"You've never told anyone this before? Well in that case I'll tell you about myself. I'm originally from Scotland, but I came over here on a ship when I was three. I don't remember much but I remember the ship sailing on the open sea. I lived with daddy for three years and then a few months ago he passed away. I live alone now." She said as she lead her to the back of the library. "I can't reach but the book I want to show you is on the third shelf down from the top. The blue one with no title."

"You don't need to apologize. You did do anything wrong." She said as she took the book and opened to the first page. "Yup it this one. 'A guide to becoming a werewolf, and includes legends from around the world, werewolf style, and examples of werewolves in mass media.'" She read. "This one might help you." She passed her back the book smiling.

She smiled back. "Thanks. You must really know your way around here, huh?" She quickly flipped through some of the pages, glancing over the content. "This looks perfect. Thank you."
"Ya I spend a lot of time here I'm teaching myself to read." She took Armina's hand again and went back to the desk. "Are there any other books you want to read?"

"If you need help you can always ask one of the other werewolves or werecats here." She said as they got back to the desk they were at before. She climbed back on to her chair and placed her cat on the table like it was before. "I don't need any more books there's a bunch here." She said looking over at the stacks of books she had brought over before. "I like to read poems my favorite book is 'Runny Babbit' have you ever read it?"

"It a big book of poems. A lot of the poems have their first letters switched with another words. Like the title, it was originally bunny rabbit but the first letters were switched." She explained as she looked through the books in front of her. "Here it is." She handed her a white hard covered book. "You should read it."

Lapis giggled. She grinned at Armina, "I take it that you like them? If you ever get the chance you should look up more books by this person." She stopped smiling and looked slightly confused. "Where's everyone going?" She asked as she watched everyone in the library including the librarian get up and leave. "The library is open all day and night. Why are they leavening?"

"I don't know. Maybe the adults should handle it. I can't do much to help anyway. We probably should stay in case it's something dangerous." She turned around in her chair so she could watch them walk through the doors. "Maybe the hunters are trying to raid again. But how do they all know?"

She nodded and picked up kitty, holding him close to her chest. "Let's go to the second floor window." She suggested as she slid off the chair and too Armina's hand. "The upstairs windows are one way stain glass. If someone's out side they won't see us."

Lapis stood on her tip toes to look out the window and she was just barely able to see the people bellow. "I wonder what they are fighting about? If it was just a fight than how did everyone know to get out there?" She asked as one of the people that were fighting headed for the door to the library.

Lapis hid behind the closest chair and crouched down so she could see the stairs. She grabbed onto Armina's sleeve, "Do we answer?" She whispered. She watched the stairs as she heard foot steps getting closer to them. He was walking right below them.
