Unexpected notes

My wife always tries to be helpful. She is just one of those types of people. She knows I have a rather acute fear of spiders, so she is always on eradication duty if they get in our house. The other night I am in the zone writing in several notebooks for my protagonists. The plot is really coming together. I open my notebook for my protagonist Adrik to discover a rather large flattened hobo spider between the pages. She must have thought my notebook was a fly swatter… Talk about a mood killer though.

Any good intentioned spouses or partners ever spoil one of your writing moments?
