Hey guys! I recently got my hands on Queen of Shadows but befre diving in can someone recap where all the characters are at the end of heir of Fire ie: what's just happened: who their with: where they're heading? Thank you so much!

Yes please! Im at 20% of QoS. And it seems I forgot everything of HoF..
After Aelin was sent to Wendlyn to kill the King and Prince and to figure out the defense and to infiltrate it, Aelin found herself going to the fortress (I forgot what it's called but it's where the semi faes have to spend their time training so they can be able to get into the actual place where faes are) With Rowan. She had a lot of questions for her aunt and she couldn't go in where her aunt is because she isn't too "strong" or capable to control her magic.So she spent her time training . Mean while the different clans of witches were gathered by the King because he wanted prepare them for something and has promised them that whoever wins gets to claim their throne back at the witch kingdom (Yellowlegs, Blueblood and Blackbeak) ttext all had to compete at a game and Manon, the leader of the Thirteen and part of the Blackbeak won the game. During this time, Aedion, Aelin's cousin came to town and well we found out that he actually isn't in alliance with the King and his plans so he and chaol team up with the rebels . Dorian on the other hand was busy with Scorchia (idk how to spell her name). Chaol and Aedion are skeptical to tell Dorian that his father is the reason for all this things going on, and when he did find out the flipped . Meanwhile in Wendlyn, Rowan and Aelin were able to stop a bunch of demons that the King sent to Wendlyn, and an attack at the fortress (she went full on fae). then they traveled to where her aunt was then confronted her aunt about her intentions on why she was at the fortress and her aunt just wanted to know how much of the galathynius bloodline's power was running through her , and that her aunt killed her own fiancé because she wanted to use the wyrd keys for herself. Finally, Aelin freed Rowan from his bond with her aunt then Rowan made a blood oath to Aelin right in front of her aunt (which was hilarious btw) . Back in Adarlan, the King found out about what Aedion, Chaol and Dorian was up to, he also found out that Aelin is alive and in prisoned Aedion , placed some sort of chain on Dorian to control his power meanwhile chaol (why did it have to be him?!?!) got away. So now, Aelin is coming back to Adarlan to get the third wyrd key from Arobynn Hammel (leader of the league of assassins) and save her people; keep her promise to Nehemiah. Thus begins the Queen of Shadows journey .

yes, the two wyrd keys are already with the King of Adarlan. And no problem, we gotta help the fellow ToG fans right? haha

I know right?! Its said because the books are spaced out. I cant go back and reread them because these fans for this are awesome and have them from my library. This helped so much.

I can't buy it so I'm borrowing it at the library and I'm #9 on hold and it's killing me !!!! Read faster people !!
I get that. On the first day of school I went in to the school library and put it on hold before they bought it. My friends are jealous to no end!
Idk if anyone will see this, but I'm reading QoS right now, and I know that the king has the other 2 wyrdkeys, but when did we find out that he had them? And how did he get them? I know the first one was in the tomb and the king found it in Elena's crown. And the second riddle sounded like it was in a volcano?? But did we get the story of how the King found it?
I think it was in Heir of Fire that they talked about the Wyrd keys and where they might have been. I am not sure, though.
