Effie Kammenou (effiekammenou) | 723 comments Evanthia's Gift Evanthia's Gift (The Gift Saga #1) by Effie Kammenou My mind is like a rollercoaster. always running, looping, jumping from one thought to another. My mind is always racing with ideas.

My blog is not an author blog or a book blog. It's a food blog, but it ties in with my book. I've added recipes between the chapters of Evanthia's Gift. Food is an important part of the culture and tradition to the Greek people in the story. I've used the blog to promote the book and it's been working nicely. Effie Kammenou (effiekammenou) | 723 comments Thank you for doing this. What a great idea. And fun too! Since I am trying to get exposure for my debut novel, Evanthia's Gift, I would say let's post that link. Sorry to confuse you with all the Greek names. Evanthia is the book name. My name is Effie! Nice to meet you. Here is the Amazon link to the book:

Jim Vuksic | 1227 comments I would describe my mind as always open to new and interesting experiences and knowledge. That said; it is also very disciplined when it comes to assigning a higher priority to activities that should be done versus those I would rather do. My four adult children would describe it quite differently. They consider my mind to be a treasure trove of useless information.

V.W. Singer | 141 comments I see my mind as a gigantic cauldron of bubbling stew that is forever simmering and always having fresh ingredients tossed in every day. The flavour of the stew just gets richer and better with every addition, and simply ladling through the stew brings up new and interesting combinations of ideas.

Theresa (theresa99) | 535 comments I imagine my mind is like a black hole with unexpected bursts of vivid colors like fireworks. No one can predict when it will happen or how long it will last and darkness reigns again.

I'm sorry but since we are not friends I cannot message you directly. However, I will answer the question. My mind is a constant stream of consciousness with bubbles of thoughts that form into momentary reality. The ebb and flow of insight change as the underwater boulders and rocks disrupt the surface of my thinking. I only hope that thoughts that I need for the future are not swept away in the nightime currents.

There is some truth to it, Molly. Even creativity itself can be like that. :) Thanks for asking the question. I actually pondered on it for a few days before answering. :)

I do have a link to my website. http://theflamebook.com

And thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. I find these streams of infomation on goodreads and many other social media sites much like our own thoughts. They flow through so fast.

Chris Northern | 2 comments Not so much a Memory/Mind Palace as a Memory/Mind Garbage/Scrapyard. Little is understood in the moment, and everything goes in bins of seemingly related material to be sorted later when the bin is full of diffuse pieces of confusing life related puzzles. Eureka moments happen when a bin of bits of life is full enough for everything to come together in clear understanding... of what could have been, if only I had understood in the moment, when it mattered. A slowly processing memory Scrapyard, acute only eventually, far far to late to effect events and achieve good outcomes for anyone.

It is hoped that good stories can result, though.
