I WENT CAMPINGGGGGG


So....FIRST. We went to a lake and were eaten alive by mosquitoes. My mom had 60 something bites just on her back. I looked like I had a black eye because a stupid mosquiter got me just below my eye. -_- We stayed one night in a tent, then left early to go to a family friends' lake house.

THERE, we spent the day at the lake, etc etc, when a GIANT haboob came upon us.

It was big and fast. We tried to outrun it, but we couldn't, so we waited it out. As were cowering under towels as it passes, our boat dies. Perfect timing, right? So....We're drifting in the middle of a big lake, during a haboob. After the haboob, it was raining and cold and thunder and lightning. We were freezing and water kept splashing on us. My sis was crying at the beginning. Our friends made it out and fortunately we had a flare, so we shot that off and soon they found us. Finally. They towed us back. We took showers. Blah blah.

After that, the rest of the time was good. XD But the first part kind of sucked.
