I've barely started QoS and I think I ship this.
Now that QoS is starting to sink in, AS LONG AS CHAOL "BAE" WESTFALL IS HAPPY, I AM HAPPY. If Nesryn could make him happy, and he could make her happy and they'll have their happy ever after, then GO ON. AS. LONG. AS. CHAOL. WESTFALL. IS. HAPPY.(Though I still ship Chaolin, and until this series end and it's not the endgame then I'm not going to lose hope for it.)

I think Nesryn could do better. Sorry to those who still love Chaol.. but I don't think I can ever get over with the way he is treating Aelin.. like she's just as bad as the King..
Nesryn is good for him. I liked her really much!

He treated Aelin terribly and she did nothing to him, except maybe threatening to kill his friend.... But that was only to put him out of his misery ! He constantly acted hostile and cold towards her, and I'm glad he finally found Nesryn. Now we know for certain that he can't be with Aelin *thank god*
Even though I hated Chaol from Hof-the beginning of QoS (he's okay to me now), I think Aelin was right when she said Chaol deserves to be happy.Chaol has been having a rough, rough time these past few books and now he's finally starting to be happy again, and I really think Nesryn and Chaol deserve each other, and will be good for each other.
Nesryn probably could do better, but she wants Chaol, and I think if that's her happiness, and that's Chaol's happiness, then so be it.
All the previous Chaolaena shippers turned Chaolryn shippers crack me up.

THIS SHIP IS PERFECT. I used to be all Chaolaena but I changed after he started being a bitch in QoS. He's better off with Nesryn.
Yes I ship these two. I think they'd go well.
I think Nesryn and Chaol are good together. However, I still don't know if I even like Nesryn. She just seems a bit....bland, in comparison to all the other characters. It's like Maas decided she needed a replacement for Chaol when Aelin ditched him for Rowan, and so Nesryn is basically a watered down version of Aelin, except she has no humour or snark. She's just.....a supposedly kickass girl who is waaay too serious and militarian and even though we're told that Chaol and her are ex-flames, there's nothing about her description that makes her appealing. Same as in HoF with Sorsha. I just couldn't connect with either of these newest female characters because I feel like Sarah really created them on a whim as fillers.

I can see it happening, but I don't want it to. There was enough drama with Chaoll and Celeana so maybe he should just stay single for awhile.
I think the point is who will end up with who in the end. Which I think Chaol and Nesryn would be a pretty good couple.

I personally love Nesryn. She is a little bit like Celeana but has a completely unique personality. Still, she and Chaoll should not get together.
Well, I don't ship Chaol, Dorian and Rowan with anybody because they all belong to Celaena, do you see my problem?
I disagree that Nesryn is flat I think it's just because we haven't known her long and don't know that much about her. I like her.
I like Nesryn, her character is pretty good but the problem I have with her is I feel like Maas put her in there as Chaol's new love interest to keep the Chaolaena fans happy. So that Chaol would have someone as Celaena does. So to me it seems like that is her main purpose for being introduced into the series which I don't particularly like. But perhaps in the next books she will prove me wrong, who knows.
I know what you mean Laura. It's also bothers me that Chaol knew Nesryn all this time supposedly, even before the start of the series, but he'd never mentioned her at all or had a passing thought about her before QoS because Maas hadn't created her yet and now we're all supposed to get on board that she was a viable love interest in Chaol's life all along. She has potential and I'm looking forward to seeing her development in the fifth book, but I wish she wasn't just thrown in there at the last moment because Maas needed another female character so poor Chaol wouldn't be all alone.
All so true Kelly!!! I didn't like how they apparently knew each other beforehand but he never mentioned her or we never heard anything about her until she was conveniently placed in the plot with this supposed history with Chaol.
I don't know about this. I started Queen of Shadows about two weeks ago and I'm kind of wary of Nesryn.
Yes yes yes! I feel the same way! I feel he might be the "tragic" character of this series and I'm getting a weird sort of feeling that he might not make it to the end of the series.
I hope you are wrong Sophie :'( ! I don't want Chaol to die!!!! But I do get where you're coming from about him potentially not ending up with someone, I think that's a very real possibility.
