Why I Wrote The Enchanters

1997 was a year that felt like it needed a little fantasy for the adult world. The Enchanters was my cure for the ache that started as a short story in 1997, but had grown into a novel by 1998 and was completed in 2000, though not published until 2008. Now, it is only the first book in a series--the story grew so big--and Fetes of Fates, the second book of the series is...coming along :)
