Option 1 — Accidentally Pregnant or Just Pregnant

155 pages
Fits: #374 Best Accidentally Pregnant in Romance Novels

Week 9
20. Accidentally Pregnant or Just Pregnant

Book: The Tycoon's Vacation by Melody Anne
Rating: ★★★
How it fits: #156 on Best Accidentally Pregnant in Romance Novels
Review:
When I started the book I was expecting a quick and light like the other books from the author I've read and that's exactly what I got. It was a rather short story where everything went by fast but still a decent read.

Option 2

3 stars
This one in the beginning jumped around between the time period, present day and 6 months earlier. Now, when done properly I'm a big fan of books like that. But it's hard for an author to successfully pull off. Faye adapted really quick to the life Dex took her too. He comes off as a brute, but then he was VP in a motorcycle club. The author did a pretty good job of depicting mc life, even though there were a few things that missed. Not enough to detract from the story. Editing is where it lost stars for me. It was absolutely horrible. Incorrect phrases, misspellings, sentence structure, misspelled words.

Option #1
Book:Magic Breaks

Rating: ★★★½
Review:
I enjoy the Kate Daniels series, but I think I'm in the minority among its readers: I'm not in it for the romance, not at all. In fact, I don't even like Curran. He's exactly the kind of dominating alpha dude who turns me off . I guess that is a bit problematic in your average shifter story, but I'm more likely to fall for the nerdy, funny beta hero, just saying ;). I'm mostly in for the Urban Fantasy and the story had plenty for me, packed with action and magic - and the fact that Curran wasn't in it for the first half made it even better, so I could enjoy Kate, Ascanio, Derek and other minor characters a lot more.

5 stars
Any book that can get me to cry because of the story and not the horrid editing is a good one. It's very rare that I do cry but after Part One Penelope Ward kept ripping my heart out! Elec and Greta were great characters. You wanted to hate Elec but if you saw past the surface you couldn't. And Greta didn't let him beat her down either! Part Two takes place 8 years later. And this is where the story really grips you. You learn so much more about the characters and really see how their initial relationship has affected them.

Review: Dark, dark and more dark. And just when you think you have it all figured out, there's a bit of a cliffhanger with no resolution that I can tell! What's up with that?!? This is not your HEA kind of story.

Review: This book has been recommended to me so many times and ended up being much sweeter than I expected. It has some real laugh out loud moments but the language got to me after a while.

Week 10
17. Award Winning Romance

Book: Provocative in Pearls by Madeline Hunter
Rating: ★★★★
How it fits: #15 on RITA Award winning books
Review:
This is a second book in a series and while I loved the first one I didn't like this one nearly as much. I didn't like Verity and felt sorry for Hawkeswell but at the end everything worked out like usual.

Read 11/19/2015**
Review - Okay I feel like I stepped in after intermission and was a little lost with plot and characters. I really like this author's other works but first time reading this series and I would need to have read first 2 books to follow plot line. In as far as the story goes I like the way the relationship between the 3 characters developed at a slow pace and wasn't rushed as so many are. I don't think I will read the rest of the series as it didn't appeal to me that much.

Option 1 — Accidentally Pregnant or Just Pregnant

4 stars
Of the three books in the series, I think I liked this one the most. It was a quick read and while it was will not well known characters, I liked them both.
They were sweet together.

Option 1 — Award Winning Romance

4 stars
I liked this one, more that I maybe thought I would. It was a quick read and liked characters. The book is told in two parts and I love how they were in the later part.

I just want to thank everyone for every bit of help and understanding. It is appreciated so much. My health has been a huge battle lately and I haven't been here as much as I normally would be. But all of you still pulled together and I'm proud of the team we are.

Awesome. Hope all is well and gets better with your health. I overextended myself in challenges this month. Struggling to keep up and not let any of my teams down. Will I ever learn?

Review:
This was a quick read over breakfast. It felt a little redundant and could easily have been the previous book's epilogue, also I'm not fond of telling half of a story in flashbacks. Having said this, Chloe and Bennett have a lot of chemistry, I liked the voice of the MC and the sexy times were nice and steamy - so I did enjoy it.

Week 11
5. Popular male POV books

Book: Frisco James by Lynn Hagen
Rating: ★★★
How it fits: paranormal mm romance
Review:
It's been a while since I read a Lynn Hagen book and even after all this time I fell into the story as if I read her last book yesterday. It was short, with very little plot and what complication happened was resolved very quickly, as usual. The ending was interesting and I'm curious how the situation with Panahasi and his sons will play out in the end.
