Combining various books from series problem

Someone combined a whole serie in editions and I am not really sure how to fix this so I would like some help.

And if you go to other editions you see the series is combined as other editions and even books not belonging to this series are combined with this book.
Would it be best to just run the separate tool and disconnect them all and try to find them all back again or is there an easier way to correct this?

The separate tool is fancier these days; you can split off groups of editions which stay together, so you can remove a book at a time from the combined lump.

You'll have to add them back into the series by ISBN once that's done, though. The author/title search index takes a long time to catch up to separations, but you can always find books by ISBN right away.

Am checking now. There are still books connected to The Collector of Dying Breaths that are not the same book. It seems someone combined all the books by this author instead of just this book.

Thanks for the tip on the separating tool. I managed to identify most books and get them fixed up and combined with the correct titles :)
