Undine Brennan This is a tall order...up for a challenge? I want to read a fantasy or science fiction book that turns the arranged marriage trope on its head. I want the two people to be from different species or radically different cultures so that superficially they are repulsed by each others looks or culture in the beginning but they come to care for each other in spite of this because of their personalities.

Any clue people..sorry I am being picky but all these arranged marriage books at the minute and they all follow the same sort of plot line.

Robert Undine, Willow Creek: Craving by Stephanie Summers is exactly such a book. I beta read it for the author. It was released recently for Kindle and paperback. Check it out.

i get annoyed that some authors love to follow than lead.

Ilana you should try reading Aberrant - by Ruth Silver. it's similar in the sense that there's this whole marriage choosing thing -and then takes it a step further.

Undine Brennan Oh! i just got recommended a free serialized fiction by Grace Draven the writer of the Master of Crows book. Her new online serial Radiance ticks all the boxes for what I was looking for. Thanks kitsu for the heads up. And thanks everyone else, I have been perusing your recs too and have added a couple to my tbr pile.
