It tells the deeply hideous story of what happens when my mother dies and I'm dragged three thousand miles away to live in L.A. with my father.” In the book One of those hideous books where the mother dies by Sonya Sones is a really good because it is about how she finds out more about his famous movie star dad after he divorced his mom after she was born, even though she absolutely hates him. I would recommend this book to a girl who is thirteen or older because this seems to me more of a girl book because of its content. This book is very similar to the book The Summer I Turned Pretty because she didn’t have a dad and only have her mother and her mom’s friend to look up to but then her mom’s friend dies and is really sad about it. Sonya has also written the books What my mother doesn’t know, What my girlfriend doesn’t know and many other books.

It sounds like a good book. I read a book by Sonya Sones as well and it was a really good book.
