Nothing for me in Sacramento either but I'm checking every day so hopefully soon!
Tomi and Kacy - ok - good to know that Texas and Arkansas are spoken for. Don't get ahead Tomi - hang in there and watch the syllabus.
You have to be fast Matt - but you can certainly get a copy from your local bookstore and join in. Glad you liked the Nixon offer. This should be great too.

Thank you Bentley!
Janis - way too late - offer closed - we do hope you will still join us by acquiring the book either on line, through your local bookstores or maybe even your library.

It looks like the books have arrived in Hawaii (that one went out early with the moderators' copies) but now we have the California contingency posting receipt which is good news - Sometimes Washington state and Oregon take a bit longer and the Dakotas or Montana and Wyoming. But it looks like we only have one from Washington (state of) this time so it should be soon for you Laura.
THE AUTHOR HAS BEGUN ANSWERING QUESTIONS ON THE Q&A THREAD:
Folks, Michael Wolraich has begun answering questions on the Q&A thread.
Make sure to go that thread and ask him a question or two that you might have about the book or Theodore Roosevelt.

The Event Notification is up - make sure to add your name to the folks who are participating in this discussion - especially if you are one of the lucky recipients of the book offer.

I just received my book last night!
Poor me, all the way out on the upper west coast. I'm one of the last. :P
Thank you!
I know Laura I was thinking of you and pretty much can tell who is going to get what book and when they are going to get it - depending upon the distribution centers' location and where the group member lives. Washington and Oregon have universally been last to receive books - California always gets their books on the West Coast before you guys.
Thanks Karen for the heads up.
Thanks Karen for the heads up.

We should start a hashtag. #MakePNWPostOfficesGreatAgain

Well, I didn't know I was part of a contingency. Now I feel like I'm a part of something!
Folks, there is a lot of work on a lot of people's parts to get these free book offers to you. Please follow the t's and c's and let us know you have received the book.
It takes two seconds.
I am now forced to send PMs to those we have not heard from.

Great Paul - thank you very much for letting us know. We want to make sure that everybody is ready and has the book.

Mark make sure to follow the syllabus and only go up to page 30 before the kickoff week. The table of contents and syllabus are posted for you so that you can contribute to the conversation about the book and read and discuss with the group. We are not kicking off for 6 days.
I am delighted that you have the book and it sounds like you have been very busy.
