Why was the girl thrown into the electrical substation? Was it deliberate? Was it planned? Why was the electrical relay placed in the morgue? What happened to the younger girl charged with murder? Was the women who opened the window in the Police station the same woman that dated Wallander???? Lots of unanswered questions with no chance of them being answered in later books

Also why was the body stolen from the morgue? Why were two fingers removed from it? Why was it placed back where he first died? Most irritating!
Indeed it is ! How could an author of such an immense caliber miss out on those things ? Can't imagine !
He says at the end that there are unanswered questions. Perhaps some things were done just to muddy the water and confuse the police.
