Eclectic Readers? Average age?
I am 57 (this month) bus driver for the local muni. I found Patrick from a shout out from GRRM & a YouTube video of him at some convention. Since then I have send numerous copies of Name of the Wind to friends with the understanding that this was a test of their friendship and level of commitment to such relationship.
I would also like to add that after I read TNOTW, I loved it so much that I bought a copy of it for my dad, who loved it. He's 74 and a retired construction worker. He introduced me to the world of fantasy fiction years ago.
I'm 17, and I am a student. Introduced the book to my mother and she loved it. She is a 44 year old kindergarten teacher
42 former software engineer, current bookkeeper, read NOTW first at 37.My 70 year old parents have read it as well as my 20 year old niece.
I'm 23 and an engineer. Since reading the book I've also recommended it to my 77 year old grandmother (retired), best friend (22, chef) and random strangers and acquaintances met in various pups; all of whom have similarly been enchanted by the series.
I'm 21, college student, fourth year of economic sciences. Some of my friends have read it as well, all of the same age.
I am 50. Use my ereader daily. Maybe something to do with font size? Lol! I still buy hardbacks of my favorites. But shop for books daily and never have to drive to town.
I'm 27 and an office manager. I think good books attract all kinds of audiences. This was recommended to me by a friend, and I have since recommended it to basically everyone I know who reads books.
54, former policy analyst/campaign manager/Chief of Staff (elected officials), currently running a program for at-risk and in-risk youth in one of the more violent cities on the left coast.
I was 23 when I first read it and loved it. I'm 30 now and still love it. I'm an oilfield technician in the arctic.

I was wondering what kind os people fell in love with Rothfuss books. Is there a target age, or readers between 0-120 read it? Can you share that information? Are you students or do you work? on what?
Why is the orange falling so far from the tree? Is Rothfuss that good?
