I'm confused. HELP

Okay, so I'm confused. Wasn't the tablet The Rising was administering to infants on welcoming day given to Ky and Xander? And wasn't it supposed to prevent the red tablet from working and also make them immune to the plague?? There are too many loose ends. I just don't understand it. ((Dead center in the middle of the book please don't spoil too much. I do know a few things that happen, but Ky just passed out cause he has the mutation))

It's really not all over the place you just have to pay attention. The trading is only important if you are interested in things you're not supposed to have or can't get a hold of. Cassia feels the trading as important because she wants paper, writing utensils, to send messages to the boys, etc. Things she's really not supposed to have according to the society. Ky's dad seems most likely to be dead from the get go. About the tablet the explanation Morgan and Lara gave seem good enough to me. The plot line has changed because characters have changed, it's really one line they just go through different things in each book just like any other series or 3logy. The point is that Cassia is trying to work through the rebellion and is in love with ky and feels love toward Xander as well as guilt because she knows he's supposed to be her match, but she doesn't love him that way. They are all trying to get the cure for the plague. The plague was spread early by some eager rebels who didn't think it through and now the pilot has to deal with the fallout. The plot is a bit complicated but if it were simpler it would be boring and it wouldn't take into account human error, arrogance, love and other human flaws and feeling. Hope this helped

You need to remember, that plagues always mutate and change. When the tablet was administered to the two, the tablet was supposed to work on the original plague, than it changed.

The Tablet that was given to them is to immune them from the original plague, but along the story the plague mutated. So the tablet couldn't do the job, the plague became stronger.

I agree with you. I don't know why I keep reading. The author is all of the place. Why is the trading so important? The plot lines are too skewed. You follow one idea just to be thrown into another idea. I was hoping that Ky's dad would come back and that he was the pilot. I have no idea how this book will end, but so far I'm just not impressed. The only reason I am still reading is because people are saying it had a good ending.
