Seeking tutorial on how to post animated gifs on Booklikes

How do you post an animated gif on BL? Feeling totally stupid here, but I can't figure it out :( Can someone give me a step by step instruction, purty please?

To get to the HTML coding when making a post, click the last item on menu bar that looks like a "< >", then you can insert the coding.

Some gifs might work by clicking the image icon and inserting link to the gif.

Aha! Thanks, I'll give that a try. I kept trying to use the insert image and insert link icons to no avail.
