It IS creepy. It's as if he's a shell with nothing inside him but this terrible drive of obsession to have Feyre. Own her. At least, that's what I think of it.
I think Tamlin is going to be killed in book three and if he isn't I don't see him having a happy ending. About the mate thing...is it even possible for him to truly have feelings if his heart is literally made of stone?
In defense of Tam, and I'm team Rhys, by the end of ACOTAR, his heart isn't made of stone anymore. Feyre says she hears the heartbeat. So, real feelings. Anyway, I've only ready the first four chaptera of ACOMAF and that was enough for me to see that Tamlin isn't right for Feyre anymore, not after all she's been through and how indifferent he is to it, to how she feels. I see him with Ianthe.
Don't u think Tam is a tad bit like Edward? Not that Feyre has anything in common with Bella but I mean they're both a little overprotective of their respective love interests.
He does have an Edward feeling to him...

Then you, miss, have not been reading your daily amount of spoilers (chapters 1-5 of ACOMAF are posted on tumblr if you want to read them). I also couldn't believe that Feyre would ever leave Tamlin. I find it easier to accept it because I've been a Feysand shipper since ACOTAR, but I've been very excited to see how it happens.
I just want to say that after reading ACOMAF, every time I hear Florida Georgia line's new single "holy" I just run through every scene with Feyre & Rhysand - that song is their theme to me.

Also, his stone heart was turned back to flesh when Feyre solved Amarantha's riddle.

I could have never seen me shipping no other then Tamlin and Feyre, but after Tamlin locked her up, and Rhys was kind and caring and cared for his people. Team FeyRhys forever!
I thought tamlin was boring in A Court of Thorns and Roses and I always liked Rhys better. I guess I knew that deep down Rhys was good inside.
I don't have to choose. Tamlin lost his chance when he locked her up. I didn't like Rhys in the first book and it took me a while to warm up to him. Now that they're mated and she's High Lady of the Night Court, What other choice is there?

Awww, you poor thing! I relate so badly, I almost never cry when reading, but that thing at the end of ACOMAF made me so sad. *throws box of Kleenex at you* And thanks, everyone, for the quote ideas! I'm definitely going to start working on a few.

Not that the person who might be his mate doesn't appear in ACOMAF, but Tamlin might not notice because of his infatuation (which is almost creepy at times) with breaking up Rhys and Feyre.
