Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Vol. 1

Just finished chapter 5.

Dunno about you guys, but I totally saw that Monsterphilia festival going horribly wrong with a creature "escaping" and was totally not surprised by Freya being the one to release one of the creatures.

So now that the books wrapping up (and I'm probably the only one here who hasn't finished it yet), what did you all think? Did you guys enjoy it?

On a whole, I like the idea behind the story, and I think the story itself is very bright and optimistic, and it's really difficult to not like all of the characters. However, the writing made it difficult for me to truly enjoy. The sentence fragments, in particular, would pull me out of the story. I normally don't think this way, but I honestly felt like the anime was better than the LN in this case.

I like some of the aspects of the world, but besides that, it's not really my thing. ^^;;;
