I'll just get some Nesquick. It's what I grew up on.
Understandable. I know a lot of people that don't like it.

I do my best to make it better. I have to do quite some html myself. It's not really a matter of clicking stuff on and poof you have a great site. ;)
I still have a lot of stuff to do before I can say: okay, now it looks great.
And good you all still be here when I stop by!
Just go home actually. Laying down.
That's like here! lol. Everyone is asleep now, and I'm just sitting here awake. lol
I always hated hanging out with my friends when they had there boyfriends with them. I always felt out of place.
That's good at least. My friend though, she always has jerky boyfriends. So that probably doesn't help. lol
i bet you will look fab Gabby. It is a lovely warm day here and I have done some gardening and some housework and cooking(yawn). Going to have a coffee and a rest now.
Well Gabby, get yourself on a plane and come over and do mine! I like doing it but I am leaving the lawns and the heavy stuff for my boyfriend to do tomorrow. Bet it rains then!Hope your friend has a great Prom then.
Finally free to lounge. Ive been doin school crap all day, im running out of time, lol. So its time to buckle down and do all the work i should have been doin the past four months, sound familiar anyone?
Not going to sleep tonight. Wish I could as well. Probably going to try to later though. Just not now. lol
im still up too actually. not much really goin on. gonna try to crash soon but who knows how itll go. im just hanging about, watching some cartoons. maybe laying in bed will help
I should actually try and force myself to sleep. I feel like total crap today.
I didn't realise this was the Insomniacs Club. Not being able to sleep is awful. It is morning here and the lawns have been mowed( not by me) and after lunch we will go out to a country pub, maybe by a canal and while away a few hours.
No I do that too. And then I laugh at myself because I have literally no idea where it comes from. lol
My cousin does it to confuse people. Like we went through a drive thru one time, and he started talking to the lady in this weird country accent. And then when we pulled up he was talking normally. The look on her face was priceless. XD
Yeah I'm not really the greatest at it, but I try. lol
Yeah I was born in California. And then moved to Michigan was I was like 1. So I don't really have an actual accent. lol
I've only been to California a few other times to visit my family there. But it's nice to visit, I don't know if I would want to live there though.
I have just got back from a day out in the city of Lincoln where we walked round the castle walls and had a look at the cathedral, parts of which date from 1192. I also bought a really good clothbound edition of Bleak House in one of the second-hand bookshops there. Should be going to a pub quiz tonight but I am too tired and my feet ache!
Hi there everyone. Had a shit day yesterday, glad its over, lol. That does sound sweet shauna, sounds like youve had a good one. Mirjam what is liberation day? Sounds like a good time. I am currently doing nothing, watchin a flick. Doin some good ol fashioned procrastination
Hi Dave, sorry you had a crap day yesterday. I am watching the final of the World Snooker Championships and messing about on here.
I have the same probably Gabby. That's why it's probably a good thing I don't have any money right now. lol
Gabby, snooker is the game that American Pool is based on.Well, maybe they are both based on billiards (yawn). It basically involves hitting a lot of coloured balls into pockets on a table with a stick. There, now if I had gone into it in more detail all those of you with insomnia would have instantly dropped to sleep- so anytime you need a nap...:)

Liberation Day has to do with WWII. Every year on May 5 we Dutch people celebrate that we got freed of the Germans in 1945. It's a Dutch national event. But the thought behind is not really visible on the day itself. It's merely an enjoyment with going into the center of the city and do fun stuff 'massively'. There was also a concert at night, but I didn't join that one. My daughter did.
And on May 4 exactly at 20:00 hours we do a 2 minute of silence to remember all that has fallen in WWII to fight for our freedom. It's called Rememberance of the Dead, also a national event.
We have our Remembrance Day in the UK at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month which is the time that the First World War ended. Glad you had a good Liberation Day Mirjam.
Ohh i see mirjam, sounds like a good day. Is it a day off type holiday? We have remembrance day, nov 11. Same deal as shauna. Now that i think about it tho we dont have any specific holidays for WW2, just remembrance day, poppies and poems and a moment of silence at 11.
I suppose it is different in the Netherlands because they were actually occupied by the Nazis during WWII. I asked my German friend if they mark the wars in any way, apparently they do have remembrance services but obviously no celebrations.
Great news! I have just won a free book on here. It is called 'Being Light' and is described as a 'screwball comedy'. Can't wait to read it.
When I first started on here I won quite a few books. But now I never win. But that's awesome! Happy you won. :)
Thanks Fangs, I never usually win anything so maybe the giveaways are concentrated more on the newbies.
I've been thinking that myself, even though they say it's completely random. But hey, I won a bunch of good books, so I'm not complaining.
Hmmm... That's not a bad idea actually. I might do that. :D
Congrats thats pretty sweet. Are they actual books or ebooks? I guess it doesnt really matter but i am curious
I love real books, the look and smell of them and the secondhand ones are so interesting. I have a book published in 1887 and the person who owned it put their name and the date in it. I feel like I own a bit of history when I hold that book.
Watching Adventure Time! I think I have a problem. XD
Against my better judgement I have put the tv on to watch the Eurovision Song Contest. Can't think why as all the songs are crap and the UK never do well but there is nothing else on and it is wet and windy outside.
You have Coyotes by your house! I find that really cool! lol the coolest thing I've ever had by my house is turkey's. lol
