David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 27 comments I’m proud to announce the launch of Elemental Cascade (Fuel to the Fire #3) by David Staniforth the final book of the “Fuel to the Fire” trilogy.

The prophecy naming Davran Fuel to the Fire seems to be coming true, as her previous actions have only served to make matters worse. The trend continues as Davran faces an unexpectedly tenacious enemy – an enemy that has been biding her time – an enemy that truly is the stuff of nightmares.

And here’s the link to Amazon: http://authl.it/B00IW62CFK

To coincide with this launch, the first book of the trilogy Fuel to the Fire (Fuel to the Fire, #1) by David Staniforth is free on Amazon dotcom and UK for as long as Amazon will allow it to be.
You can find it on Amazon here: http://authl.it/B00AGJR4VI,
and on smashwords here: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

And what do I expect for this act of generosity? Nothing, other than you download the book, possibly read it, hopefully enjoy it. If all three occur and you'd like to give a review that would be brilliant, recommending to others would be even better.

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 27 comments On the off chance that you need any more tempting, here's the first review to come in for the closing book of the trilogy:

Kath Middleton's review Mar 12, 14
5 of 5 stars

We first met Davran in Fuel to the Fire, the first of this trilogy. As with all trilogies, you really need to have read the first two books to know who the characters are and what their relationship is to each other. This book is the archetypal battle between good and evil and there remains the possibility that many, even most, will die. This book is a gift for lovers of the dragon! They exist in number and variety and play a significant role.

David Staniforth has a gift for description and I’ve enjoyed this aspect of all his fantasy works. He is also skilled in writing the sort of villain you love to hate. You will find both in here and a plot which will leave you on tenterhooks to the very end. Excellent stuff!

And the first book is free, while stocks last ;~)

Victoria Zigler's review Mar 15, 14

This book is an absolutely amazing read, and a fantastic start to the series! It's wonderfully written, with well-rounded characters, a plot that moves along at a nice pace, and excellent descriptions.

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 27 comments It seems some of you need more temptation, a reason WHY you should download this FREE book.

What reviewers are saying about it:

“This book is an absolutely amazing read, and a fantastic start to the series!”

“I very much enjoyed this fantasy novel, romping through it in a few hours before reading through again more slowly, savouring the details.”

“I would recommend this book to fantasy lovers and people who like something a little different. David Staniforth is a wonderful creator of characters and i can never see myself getting tired of what his imagination puts to print.”

“This is one very awesome story. I loved how description and world details were fed through piece at a time and how it kept the pace nice and high.”

“I would absolutely without a doubt recommend this book to anyone who loves really well written fantasy books. Although it's technically a young adult book, I feel that it branches out with its content and would be a pleasure to read by someone of any age who enjoys fantasy!”

Go on, you’ve got nothing to loose; if you don’t enjoy it, I’ll give you a full refund ;~)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 27 comments Need a little more encouragement to try book one for FREE? Well, here's the latest 5* review for book three Elemental Cascade (Fuel to the Fire #3) by David Staniforth :

Branwen Sedai *of the White Ajah* rated it 5 of 5 stars
Shelves: fantasy-science-fiction
"I like to think anyone can be anything they want to be, given enough motivation. Sometimes evil men will do good, and good men will do evil. Each and every one of us has the capacity to travel to the extremes of both."

[section removed, for anyone who hasn't read books 1 & 2]

Wow. I wanted to take my time and savor this book by reading slowly but it started off with such a bang and was so damn exciting the whole time I just found that I couldn't stop reading! This was the longest book in the series, which was fantastic, because there were so many characters and intense situations it was so fantastic to get to spend more time with them.

There is a lot to love about this book. First and foremost, as usual, David Staniforth has brought his wonderfully descriptive writing style to the table once more and described even more places that I wanted to explore and discover. The city Santaxiom and Onktor Valley were two places that I loved reading about, they were so beautiful and exciting! There were new creatures and people (conchubar, onktor, etc) as well which added even more spice and flavor to the story.

Um also can I just say that the main evil character, Grizzle, was probably one of the most evil, terrifying, and downright disgusting characters I have ever read about? Seriously. Some of the scenes involving her really really freaked me out (in a good way). She was just about as scary as Jit the hedge witch and Emperor Jagang from Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. There is literally nothing as scary to me as those characters so for Grizzle to even come CLOSE to that is a huge accomplishment, in my opinion.

My favorite aspect of the book was Davran. What an amazing female character. I absolutely love her and was so excited to watch her grow and become an even more amazing woman in this last book. There are too few characters like her, unfortunately. She totally rocks. :)

I would recommend this book and this series to anyone who loved fantasy stories with great characters!

Elemental Cascade (Fuel to the Fire #3) by David Staniforth 5.0 out of 5 stars Superb Triology, 30 Mar 2014

This review is from: Elemental Cascade (Fuel to the Fire) (Kindle Edition)
From book one it started to grow and the more I read the more I wanted to read. I hate starting a book and have to stop for any reason once it has captured me. This was no exception. From start to finish of the first, on to the second and building to a crescendo in the third I was enthralled. Strong characters from start to finish. A stunning tale of highest merit. I loved it.

I loved Anne McCaffrey's Dragons of Pern books and never thought I would find their equal, but In this trilogy I really think I have done so. I can not give a higher accolade than that!

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 27 comments As the thread title says, there's not long left to grab Alloria (Labyrinth of labyrinths, #1) by David Staniforth at this price.

If you need any more tempting, here's the latest review:

Jud (Disney Diva) rated it 5 of 5 stars
After reading (and loving) the Fuel to the Fire series by the same author (David Staniforth) I bought this book and I wasn't disappointed.

Alloria is the kind of fantasy book that I love, there's magic, intrigue and secret connections bonding certain people together, all woven together to make a wonderful story which is light hearted in feel yet gripping. It didn't take me long to finish the book once I had started, right from the beginning I was able to empathise with Alloria and Nat as well and even Bane didn't take long to win my heart. There were moments where I feared for the characters and moments where I smiled and silently cheered for them.

I can't wait for the next in the series and although I wish that I had read this book sooner the teasing hints left towards the end of Alloria make me glad that I didn't or I would just have to wait longer for the next installment, it can't come quick enough I want to know more about Xsanderumn, the Labyrinth and the other worlds beyond!

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 27 comments Fuel to the Fire (Fuel to the Fire, #1) by David Staniforth is not only the first book of a completed trilogy, it is also FREE and now has the honour of being turned down for promotion by Bookbub.

Based on evidence of books downloaded in the past it is not something that would appeal to their members, apparently. I suggest you rage against the machine, join the other 4000 who felt it worthy of downloading, and help me to prove them wrong.

On the plus side, they saved me the $70 advertising fee :~)

David Staniforth (davidstaniforth) | 27 comments The latest "Fuel to the Fire" review, a 5* for Elemental Cascade (Fuel to the Fire #3) by David M. Staniforth a longlisted SpaSpa awards 2014 book.

I was given a copy of this book by the author in return for my review.

This one didn't start off quite where the previous one finished and it took me a moment to remember who everyone was and how they'd all got to where they were. I could only really remember the main character, Davran, which was probably more my fault for leaving it so long between reading book 2 and 3, but after a few chapters I had caught up with everything.

I was looking forward to finding out a few things in this book that appeared to be glossed over at first but most of my questions were satisfied by the end of the book so no complaints there. After all, every good series has some questions left unanswered.

Writing and plot wise I think this was by far the strongest of the three books. I just loved it and found it very hard to put the book down. The author had progressed through the series and really made this book work, especially all the ending stuff. The last few chapters were wonderfully woven together and not at all what I expected.

Like the first two there's plenty of standard fantasy stuff, with dragons, creatures, different races and a bad guy. With a perfectly amazing ending that still had me feeling surprised even though it wasn't an uncommon ending to this sort of book, I felt very satisfied by the time I'd finished.

Possibly one of my favourite books so far this year.

Only 99p/99c for the next three days.
