As a blogger, what is your pet peeve when talking to authors?

I am making a blog post about etiquette when engaging in a conversation between a blogger and an author for reviews, interviews, and guest posts. What are your pet peeves when talking blogger to author or vice versa?

That would be very helpful! I would love to take a look at that blog post and share it on my blog. That was one of the reasons I took a break also I bumped heads with a lot of authors. I try and state everything ahead of time like "DO NOT SEND ME YOUR BOOK BEFORE I ACCEPT TO REVIEW IT!"

My pet peeve is when they do not read your book review policy and jump ahead to submit. There are so many different book bloggers that specialize in different genres and audiences. I think it is important for authors to know that picking the right book blogger takes time.
