but otherwise, I'm really liking this one so far. the reviews had me pretty nervous but I'm enjoying it.Not a lot of Robin Hood retellings :)

okay, so the(view spoiler)[ triangle is getting downright annoying. John...is kind of smug charmer and I don't like him (hide spoiler)]

scar(view spoiler)[ I wish we knew already. just tell us. I assume he wanted to marry her. I had assumed Grims-whoever had hurt her and not her friend.....I can't imagine what she could have done that would make Robin want to push Scarlet out of their bang (hide spoiler)]

Raveena(view spoiler)[ huh...that was a pretty awful move but I guess she's right. This is HER chance to make her decision. I wish Scarlet would see how much that means to Raveena instead of just looking at it as a bad choice for Raveena. she's right. it's HER choice - instead of it being made for her and it helps her family and takes a burden off her brother. it's her only chance at being able to do that. this one is still pretty good and really fascinating. I really like the fact that it's Robin Hood retold. :)
I wish there were more of these (like a Fey one!)

Gisbourne(view spoiler)[ I like to imagine he died of his injuries, horribly of infection. and that Robin and Marian were able to be together, married and Robin was given his rightful place again (hide spoiler)]

ahhh....Robin Hood *sigh* I loved this re-telling. The author, in the acknowledgements, said there were many re-tellings. I'll need to find these :)

I finished the book. I meant to post when I was in the middle, but I couldn't put the book down. :)

Scar (view spoiler)[ I really liked her! I thought that she was strong and courageous. I feel terrible for what she went through when she was younger. I can't believe that she married Gisbourne! I know she did it to save Robin, but she seemed so afraid of him and it really shocked me that she went through with it. (hide spoiler)]

John and Robin (view spoiler)[ I didn't really like either of them. I thought that John was too much of a player and Robin was always snapping at her. Maybe I'll like Robin more in the next book. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ The whole town went through so much in this book, and after reading the synopsis for the next book I don't really think that it is going to get any easier for them. (hide spoiler)]
