I just finally bit the bullet and bought it!

Chapter 7 (view spoiler)[ So Avan knows she has a gift that only the ruler is known to have. Maybe she is an unknown illegitimate child? I have no idea how old the ruler is so she could be. I was wondering about the tattoo too, hopefully we will find out soon. Ye no-one seems to care about anyone else. She left a girl for dead at the beginning and didn't care. (hide spoiler)]

wow, taking the break sure made this one much tougher to pick up and understand again
