I know I am late, but I have recently finished The Maze Runner. It seems like your typical, dystopian-like teen novel; all in all, I loved it. I found it be in the same sort of category as Divergent and THG, to some extent. I want to know what you guys think: what did you like/dislike the most about the book? Who was(were) your favorite character(s)? Was the book worth the read?

Also, I would like to know, is The Scorch Trials worth the read? I plan on starting on that one pretty soon. :)

The Maze Runner as a book was a fast-paced, thrilling and unputdownable book with a good plot intricacy. However when you talk about the whole series, (which you haven't read yet), honestly I just disliked it. As the trilogy proceeds, my enthusiasm just got lower and lower. However that doesn't mean TST is not a good book. It's just not as better as TMR.

Maze runner was a great book. I would definitely keep reading the series. You will grow more an more fond of the characters until eventually you are in love with your favorites. Enjoy the rest of them :)

In my opinion, TST is worth reading. I loved it.

What I loved about this book most was the characters. Gally is my favorite, then Newt (god bless his britishness) The chatacters were all different from each other, they were all funny in their own way and I thought the character development was awesome.

I also loved the mystery of the maze, of Teresa showing up. Overall the book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time and I loved every moment of it. :)

I want to start by telling you that I am the biggest fan of the Maze Runner. *Raises his fist like an idiot*

All jokes aside, you HAVE GOT TO read The Scorch Trials. I admit, it's somewhat less intense than the first book but it's still well written and I would totally recommend it to you.

The book ended at a pretty strange place but all in all, the book is so good that I read it every month or so...(seriously)

Good Luck :-)

I loved Maze Runner! Its definitley worth it to read the whole thing as the books are a light read and theyre relatively short. However, like Zoey, as it progresses it has sort of like spikes, Scorch Trials was super action-y but then Death Cure was just a little bit of a down-hill sort of book for me and the ending didnt really satisfy me. Its a fun series though ! enjoy!

The Maze Runner was a great book ! defiantly with lots of twists and turns. Thomas's character was my favorite, his determination to get out of the maze and free the gladers was a great character trait. I especially liked how he treated Chuck like a little brother. I'm in the middle of the scorch trials, its great so far. You should defiantly try reading The Scorch Trials !

I loved The Maze Runner so much, i watched the movie before unfortunately but both were very good. I would recommend reading he whole series, it just keeps getting better and better(:

Does anyone else remember the dog Bark?
He was only mentioned in the book once.
