[ ʜ ] ermione was sitting in the library reading fantastic beast and where to find them. she had just got out of defence against the dark arts class. she was sitting in a corner with her book stuffed into her face, and then another stack books on the floor next to her.
It was friday mid-afternoon. Ash was finished with the majority of today's classes and luckily he had two back-to-back free periods before Divination. He spent the first half of his first free period by the lake jogging. He came to the library afterwards and has been there for nearly three hours. He found comfort in the books. The old musty smell of an old book was what brought him complete comfort. He was in the back a shelf away from being at the gate of the restricted section. Technically, Ash being a Seventh year was able to go into the restricted section with a professor's permit for studies, but the books he had stacked beside of him in the corner were all in the regular student limit of education, but it certainly wasn't the sort of books that one might wonder into and decide to read. In his small stack he had books such as "Werewolves: Slaves to the Moon or Slaves to Society?, The Transformation of Werewolves, Transfigurations: The Darker Arts, Werewolf or Animagus, and Cycles of the Moon: Astronomy of the Were. Ash wanted to find answers on how to fix himself. He was not in any desire to be a werewolf especially after what happened to his parents. The Wolfsbane Potion allowed him to keep his human mentality during his shifts, but that wasn't enough he wanted a way out of it entirely. If there was truly a way to turn a person into a werewolf there had to be a way to reverse it. Every curse had a cure and every ailment had a remedy. He just needed to dig further. He may be on of the few werewolves to attend Hogwarts and one of the few students with a goal to fix themselves using magic rather than a goal of employment.

[ ʜ ] ermione stood up. she walked to the back shelf, searching for something along the lines on "defence against the dark arts: a history". she was searching the last row, then she turned around and bumped into a guy.
"sorry," hermione said softly. she looked up. what a strange thing to read, the thought, looking at the book the guy was reading.
Ash felt something or someone bump into him as he was about to sat on the floor and looked down finding a first or second year. Ash simply sighed finding his books no longer neatly stacked but sprawled over the floor and the librarian's faint, "Ssshhhh" Ash looked at the springy haired girl a smiled, "You're fine. I should have chose a table." He said quickly leaning own to gather his books up. He was not wanting her to see all the titles. "Sorry, third year studies werewolves and I'm studying a darker aspect in Transfigurations class for...um...an essay." He said it trying to come up with an excuse. The kid had a Gryffindor insignia on her robes and could only want to turn his nose up to her, but she wasn't like most Gryffindor's she was in the library rather than the Quidditch field.

[ ʜ ] ermione said, “that‘s okay, I was just about to sit at a table, too,” she said, finally pulling out a book on the self that read, “defence against the inferi”. even though she was still very young, she was reading really advanced books.
Ash could not help but notice that she was reading far above her year. "You know that is a Sixth year book, right? Maybe better to start with something like 'Defense Against the Dark Arts: Basic Spell Work'? He couldn't help but begin to wonder if this kid either had a darker side to her or was intellectual beyond her year's standards. Why would someone so evil or studious be placed in Gryffindor? He thought to himself for a moment. "Um, right, brilliant...most wouldn't but I don't mind sharing a table with a second year...or are you a first year? You certainly aren't a third year unless you are half dwarf or goblin." He said with a slight grin trying to keep his cool because clearly if her appeared agitated he would blow his cover. The moon was nearing and he was feeling it more and more the worst of it all was the fact that those around him noticed it too. His mood would be more depressive and easily temperamental.

[ " ] I'm a second year," Hermione said, smiling back. "And I think this all right for me, Professor Flitwick was the one who recommended it to me!" she said proudly. "Umm, sorry, but why are you reading the Transformation of Werewolves?" Hermione questioned.
Ash glowered at the second year as she asked her question. "I told you it was research...I am studying the wolfsbane potion." Ash was usually good at sticking to his story but he faltered with his agitation as the nearing full moon became far more imminent. He flipped through some pages and simply glanced at a list of tried and failed spells to make a werewolf human at least temporarily. Each and everyone of them failed. There was no way he would be able to fix himself. "It's hopeless." He said aloud. He then face palmed his forehead as he realized he did say it where she could hear followed by another defiant "Sshhh!"

[ " ] what's wrong!" hermione asked franticly. "maybe we should get you to madame pomfrey, yes, we should!" she said. the boys face was getting paler, he was getting more frustrated. "are you a werew-?" she cut herself off. she grabbed a book out of the guys hands, one that read: the werewolf transformation: details. she franticly turned the pages in till she found it: as the full moon draws closer, a werewolf would get frustrated, turn paler, become violent. hermione's eyes widened. he's a werewolf, she thought to herself.
Ash gripped the edge of the table the wood cracking under his fingers. He grew paler by the second. "You must swear on your life to never utter such a word to anyone." He said behind gritted teeth. "I don't care how old you are or what year you are in or how smart you think you are. I will give you a permanent curse if you dare tell a soul that you think I'm a werewolf." Ash couldn't risk people founding his secrets out. He was Head Boy and he was top in his year. He had made O's in all of his OWL examines during his fifth year and he was pushing to do the same for his NEWT's. Once people found out he was a werewolf the headmaster would lose his job and get sacked permanently. And Ash would lose his education and right to work. He would get sent back to the refugee camp and forced to remain solitary and without magic. He was edgy enough as it was, but if this second year was able to conclude what he was it would only be sooner than later that the entire school came to know his secret which he had managed to keep so well hidden for seven years. He quickly snatched the book back from her. "I'm not one of those dogs. I am a wizard with noble blood. I am not some monster." He said coldly. Slamming the book shut hard. "What gives you the right to make such a serious accusation? Do you realize you can get people expelled by spouting out that they are werewolves, half-vampires, half-trolls, or what have you." He couldn't control his temper even with his adrenaline pumping now he seemed to lose colour in his face entirely as beads of sweat began to rise to the surface of his pores.

[ " ] gee, i wasn't going to tell anyone." hermione looked genuinely worried. "i think we should get you to professors slughorn or snape. come on. i don't care if you aren't actually a . . . a . . . a werewolf. something's definitely wrong with you and i think professors snape or slugorn will have a cure. come on." hermione dragged with all her might.
Ash was in no mood to follow twelve year old girls around the school to go to a professor about an unknown ailment. "I'm fine." He said but not wanting to hurt the poor girl he was reluctant to follow in. They walked through the corridor passing Charms class then behind a portrait leading to the grand staircase. Ash reluctantly stayed with Hermione barely missing the vanishing step after the fifth floor stairs. He found himself following the staircase all the way to the dungeons. This was the route that all first and second years followed to the dungeons where Snape's class was along with the Slytherin Common Room. Green orbs filled the hall with light. The corridors twisted like the tunnels of a sewer. Had they followed route to Professor Slughorn they would have found themselves on the third floor near the third floor courtyard which also led to Transfigurations. What Second year had the nerve to visit Snape after class hours was absolutely mental. Ash felt himself growing more feeble by the second. Sweat poured down his brows and dripped from his jawline. He was so pale he began to reflect the green glowing orbs of light that gave the corridor it's eerie Slytherin look. "Really, kid...I'm fine..." He suddenly realized he was being led down the dungeon corridor by a second year who he had no idea the name of.

"No, your not fine." She finally opened the door to Professor Snape class room. "Professor, something's wrong with...? With this guy. I don't know what it is, but you need to help him." She closed the door behind her, finally letting go of the guy. She looked worriedly to Professor Snape, to Ash.
((Should we jump to Professor Snape's office or classroom? Also who will be Modding in as Snape for the time being?))
