I read the entire series twelve times and have watched the movies to many times to count. I cried for Dumbledore and I cried for Voldemort. I loved trying to look from the point of view of both Harry and Voldemort and found myself with a real connection to the characters. A truly riveting piece of work that should be enjoyed by all generations for years to come.
My least favorite movie was Half-blood Prince. It was so off form the book I became extremely angry. I got kicked out of the theater for throwing food and cussing at the screen. I really got mad when it came to not having Dumbledore's Funeral and it took everything in me to watch the Deathly Hallows.
There may have been nothing I could do to change it and JKR may have wanted it to be separate from the books so people would read the books, but not having the one scene that nearly everyone was wanting to see, Dumbledore's Funeral, was simply horrific...I was traumatized by the movies. They might as well have placed separate titles on them and simply said it was based off the books but held no true plot to them. At least I could walk away with a little less disappointment.
