For people who have read and watched Game Of Thrones Series?

I am reading the books before watching the Tv show. I read 'A Game Of Thrones' and then I watched the first series and then did the same with 'A Clash Of Kings'....my question is, since book 3 is in two parts, does that mean I should read 'A Storm Of Swords, part 1 AND 2' just to watch the third series?
Or is book 3, part 2 - the fourth series?

Hi Tina,

It's not quite that clear-cut:

Season 1 = A Game of Thrones
Season 2 = A Clash of Kings
Season 3 = About the first two-thirds of A Storm of Swords
Season 4 = The remaining one-third of A Storm of Swords and some elements from A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons
Season 5 = A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons, with some elements of A Storm of Swords and The Winds of Winter

According to wiki.

So it might be worth finishing both parts of Storm of Swords to be totally safe at not spoiling the books when watching Season 3. Then after that it might be worth finishing all the books before you start on Season 4?
