Hi! My name is Bogdana and I decided to create this group in an effort to connect with other YA booknerds. I am originally from Romania, but I now live in Atlanta, GA. I love most YA books, but if I had to choose one genre it would probably be Fantasy. I am currently reading An Ember in the Ashes as a read-along with my friend Eve, and 6 other books. I have a really bad habit of starting multiple books at once. In all fairness some are audiobooks, other hardcovers, and some kindle. I read different formats at different times. Looking forward to hearing from you :)

Hi everyone! Okay my name is Eve and I live in South GA. I am a lover of reading (mostly YA) and movies/TV but I also write, I've written a couple short stories and I'm working on a book now that I'm excited about. I love in my job that 85% of the time I can read at work. Sometimes I swear reading is cursed and brings on crazy calls but only randomly lol. Yeah I work as a dispatcher so lots of stories there. Like Bogdana I read several books at a time. Different formats and things.

Bogdana and I have been doing weekend read-alongs every other weekend for a while now and recently talked about maybe starting a group to have more opinions in the mix after we enjoyed a read along we were both in for The Grisha trilogy. I'm excited. Welcome and let's have fun!

Hi everyone. I'm Jamie and I live in Southern Ontario, Canada. I live for YA books but you'll also find me reading other fiction novels so long as they are of the science fiction or fantasy brand.

Haha sounds like we all like a diverse selection of YA! This is going to be so much fun! I can't wait for UPS to arrive with my pre-ordered copy of Queen of Shadows and Firewalker!!!

OMG I watch way to many shows and bake too! Do you have a preference on baking (cookies/cakes/etc)? I make pretty amazing cookies and use my work peps as test subjects for any new recipes of any kind but they don't mind ;)

I just reviewed Throne of Glass on my blog haha I'm caught up and about to start Queen of Shadows as my mom dropped it off yesterday while I was at work (Sept. 1st was a big day for new books I have too many new releases to read at once). How are you liking it thus far?

That's awesome! I just made some frosted brownies and my go to chocolate chip cookies to go along with the cupcakes I'm making for a 1st birthday party and my first smash/rosette cake. Should be fun.

Hey! I'm Dax and I live in Memphis, TN. Just started on goodreads and I love it! Quite intimidating with all the books but also enjoyable. I mostly read Sci-Fi, Mystery, Classics, and some Fantasy.
Right now I am currently reading The Martian (one of the best books I've read in a long time. I reccomend it to anyone and everyone!) and Something Wicked This Way Comes; Bradbury is my favorite!!

Hi, I'm Cynthia. Although a senior adult, I read a LOT of YA and also have a series published. The first one of the series, 8 Notes to a Nobody, happens to be .99 until Aug. 19 on Amazon and 8 Notes to a NobodyKobo. In case anyone is looking for a good read for a 13 or 14 year old girl.
