After trying and failing to finish White Teeth due to extreme lack of interest, I decided on a Sherlock Holmes book instead as I'd not read any. It was ok, not really my thing, but I'll read some more as it's apparently not the best example.

I read this for a book that is 100-years old. It was confusing when the second part of the story was introduced. It seemed like a separate story at first.
