The only reason I had joined goodreads is cuz I moved and didn't have any friends and now, I honestly cannot leave Goodreads cuz I have friends here

I kinda figured he probably wouldn't even want to hear me out. I'm thinking of taking a break from this group, maybe even a temporary leave, I'll rejoin when I have taken some time
When I block someone I don't interact with them or see what they post. There is no way I am being talked out unblocking someone.
Well, technically, you don't have to unblock Phoenix to see the apology they posted in message 3068 - in public. Just read it once, don't reply if you don't want to, and they don't expect you to forgive them either. They feel awful for the feud between both of you, and it would help a bit too improve another person's mental health if you at least looked at it. I know I can't force you into doing it, but it's what I would say to anyone.
Today I went on a class trip to Save Drive Stay Alive presentation. The presentation was about staying safe whilst driving. We were watching videos on real life crisis that have happened. Police Officer, Firefighter, Paramedic, Nurse and a Parent has given an individual speech in between clips about what they do and what they have to say. It was great but I thought it was ironic. Since we had to sit in lectures seats, my group had to sit at the back which we needed the stairs to get to them seats. I was anxious having to walk up them. And before the presentation we had to settle in with very loud music and distracting coloured lights. So not every part of the trip was satisfying. Not to forget that I had to sit for 1 hour and 30 minutes. So my rear and my legs were very achy. As we were at the top I can feel like a giant gravitational force coming off the ground. After that we were given a key chain and wristband as a souvenir. When the paramedic was giving a speech immediately I was thinking of Paw Patrols even though it wasn't about Paw Patrol. Just so you know I have phobia of travelling. Watching the presentation has added more impact on my phobia of driving.
While I like how your college (?) organized something like that, I'm sort of confused. Why did you find it ironic? I'm sorry you very uncomfortable in your seat. That happens at my school as well. But don't worry about your phobia of driving. My brother is the same - doesn't want to drive in his life. Some people just don't want to. It's fine if you don't want to drive. There is always public transport, which also counts as a contribution to saving the environment. Really, it's your choice.
Hello , everyone I am wounding if any of you have ever tried the Ielts test before ?? If you did , can you tell us a little about it . Even though I am an English student of advanced level , I am anxious about it . by the way I am obliged to pass it with great marks as way to open up good opportunities .
Any recommendations or advices ?!
Cambridge IELTS 8I have found a book for you. It is called Ielts from University of Cambridge. I hope this book helps.
Just drop it, Rumell. Maybe they didn't understand that you were only curious and trying to make rational sense out of something that sounds rather bizarre and strange (without any details whatsoever, too), but if you'll only make it worse by continuing to ask for a rational explanation. Don't comment any further, but instead let a moderator intervene.
looking for a book I have read something like twenty years ago, but I can not remember the title of the book, so some help from anyone please. There is a man who switches bodies to other people's bodies using his mind powers through phone calls.
I mean someone other than Christine, Rumell and me is here right now, and I don't remember the last time that happened.
