It just affects me when I don't track a book straight. If I read less things will be perfectly organised. It will be all smooth and sound. I will make a new log book for next year. I think I will use Microsoft Word for the logging.
Aqsa, true, but if the person does not believe they can do it, it's still a futile effort if you give up - especially since if you start working towards building a better habit and give up, there is a possibility the repercussions are even worse than when you started. What I mean is that if you want to do something, don't do it because you have to - do it because you want to.
Not to discourage anyone here. I'm just stating my opinions, and hopefully carry out a discussion (clearly suck at that), and it's nice to see different perspectives on the same topic :)
Rumell, I fail to see your logic here, so.... Alright.

Yes, a person at least ought to believe they can do it. If they don't, they would probably not even try. I also meant that the person wants to do that. We understand, Hallie. We're doing the same. It's good to know what other people think.

Well yes, maybe actually succeed dying.
Same as Rumell. I'm stressing out already, and what I would give for the roof to fall and crush me before the year changes.

Rumell wrote: "Have you seen the world around you?"There's no use distressing over something you cannot control. Yes, we must help in ways we can, but distressing won't help.

I would say your physical and mental health should always come first. I don't mean stop what your doing right now and go do it but something to consider sometime in the New Year ( It's not 2019 here yet).Hope everyone is having or had a good New years eve!

Depends on that thing, I'd say. If it's a habit you're trying to adopt, then it's better to try. One can't adopt it overnight and trying helps. If it's something that should be done in a single go, then yeah, it's a waste.
And it depends upon the person's priorities. What if they don't want to achieve that something else?
