Hallie, you cannot choose your family but you can choose who you want to be. Be confident, humans are made to overcome obstacles so we can improve ourselves. Without ordeals, we couldn't show how good and amazing we are. Try to find the positive aspect in each hardship you face and be proud because you are facing it, you are brave .
Wow a pretty intense discussion before this. This is as good a time as any and more relevant than normally with New Year and all that. Let's be kinder to ourselves. Just accept that you've done a good thing Hallie with this group, because you have. All the best everyone. Be positive in 2017!

Very hot here in South Brisbane/ Gold Coast area in Australia. In the shade on the back deck, it says 40 degrees celsius. I don't really like aircon at home so when I go from room to room, I'm switching fans on and off. Probably using more power!
