I don't do tumblr, but a friend of mine linked to this on Facebook, and I'm so glad she did. This is incredibly powerful, and all too familiar to a lot of people. It's not an easy read, but one I highly recommend:

It Was Easier to Give in Than Keep Running.

The blog (are tumblrs blogs? is that how it works?) is called i believe you | it's not your fault. I hope it can be helpful to some who may need the reminder (it's not your fault. And you're not alone.).

They have a crowd-sourced list of Resources that, again, may be beneficial to some who aren't sure where to turn. I hope this can be helpful to someone, either you or someone you know.

Taylor (seffietay) Tumblrs are blogs for a lot of people! Thanks for this link. Definitely can be triggering (descriptions of sexual violence) but could also be so so helpful.

Alexa (AlexaNC) Wow! That was great! I particularly loved this line: "The constant state of war, navigating the relentless obstacle course of testosterone and misogyny."

And the nerve of that idiot, thinking he had the right to tell her how she was going to birth and feed "his" babies!

Moni (macaroon-dream) | 32 comments Wow, unless you both agreed to have kids or you're married you have no right to talk about how the mother will birth or raise a kid even then when it comes to birth unless she's suggesting doing it out in the wilderness where she's unable to access medical help and will put her own and the baby's life in danger; it's still her decision at the end of the day.
