I did that in The Educated BR..😬😬😂😂
I'll apologize to you @Ahmed for I have finished reading the book against your carefully crafted schedule. It was an easy light read and well ended before I knew it.
I hope everyone is in good spirits and reading well 🙏

WOW! That was super fast, bro! ;D
Btw, it's totally okay.. :)
@Ahmad count me in too. Btw reading a book for 19 days is gonna be so tough considering the extensive reading I have been doing lately. But let's see how it goes...

I know it'd be tough but it's a monthly read...that's why forcefully stretched it that long...otherwise, books like these are a matter of a day or two..😂😁
Right, @Abdullah, @Zarshal?!😆
Haha why @Zarshal? What happened to the heart? You're actually collecting hosla... Trying not to read the book in a day? Haha xD
I was thinking... Why not we divide months or weeks by genre? Like month of sci fi, fantasy, horror etc.
I read the book in a day no amount of hosla can stop me from doing THAT.I was just talking about the ending..

Can someone please pick up the pieces of my heart off the floor?"
Oh youu too!!😂😂
Finished the book already!!😂😂

Yep haha :P
There are some dry books usually non-fic autobiography, but books like these can be read in a matter of hours. Except we guys are usually busy so we divide in a month.

I can relate with you regarding the ending. Will be waiting for your review since you have already read it.
@Abdullah you are right. It takes me a few days to finish a book normally. But these are not usual times, lately, I have been just avoiding all my online classes and doing reading and watching shows. The lectures are piling up but the procrastination has taken over. And when you are procrastinating by reading books it's almost impossible to stop.

@Aakash Thankyou thankyou! xDOh and how come you’re Misty now?
@Nigham Yeah I hope you liked the ending xD
I am almost halfway through, thanks to all other rumance books keeping me away from it for some time.
I am half done.. as a matter of fact, other than me all of you are done with the book so it's better to start discussing the book or the end. I will visit this thread once I am done too.

Welcome Back!🎉
I didn't like it much... Plot sucked I have not read many mystery books but in my opinion the author wrote the story from start to end and then took the main part of the fire and placed it at the end n lo and behold there is your mystery and book title is misleading as well...
@misty yeah same. In the start, there was too much information to grab and I was reading just for the sake of reading. But somewhere in the middle the book really hooked me. The fire was at the end and I think it left a lot of room for the other possibilities for readers to think. I was personally thinking something like she and gait must have been together and something bad happened. The fire thing was a big surprise. PS I am not a big fan of sad endings but the final few chapters legit made me cry, there was this stream of emotions that I don't know, how to stay angry at the writer anymore, for that ending.
@Amna feel you, endings like this haunt me for days, but I think the way book was written this kinda ending was required for the readers to feel true emotions...
Yeah true about thinking different scenarios I myself thought he has died or something when she was in Europe and no one telling her about gat
And I thought she must have gotten into fight with her mother, went for swimming or something and instead bumped her head, got unconscious and all...Because later her little cousins weren't telling her a thing and everyone kept saying that your mother says, doctors have advised that she should remember herself.
Marium wrote: "I read the book sometime back and legit believed that she died in the accident and it was her soul in the chapters ahead :/"
haha!! The award goes to your imagination :'D Wish i had thought the same :3

I remember that buddy read. Yeah it's slightly similar but "made you up" was much better. With an ending that made sense. And there were moments in it too.
But this "we were liars" felt like a normal story with no moments worth remembering or not even any quotes or situations worth discussing. The pattern was pretty obvious; If you got nothing better then write a simple good time summer story, and change it by the end by adding some piece of information so that the whole perspective is changed but it's much worse now. Moreover the ending didn't make sense because it was like there's no purpose given to such a tragedy. Except for a teenager doing a stupid mistake which even in itself didn't make sense. They weren't such small kids that they'd forget to not to light a place before everyone is out.
Critically speaking it wasn't that good at all. But as a light read this was an alright book I guess.
Eid Mubarak guys 🙏P.S. suggestions for next month buddy read should be started now I guess ...
Any suggestions?
