@Aakash not boring. I like Elif’s style of writing and the way all the million scattered pieces come together at the end and the story finally makes perfect sense.I’m almost halfway there. Its just that my timetable’s really busy. My classes start at 8 subah all the way to 7 in the evening.
I’m barely catching up to all the labs, lectures and assignments and projects... I did not think this was going to be so hectic!
I haven’t read a worrrrd and September’s almost over! 😱😱😱😱

Is there a current buddy read going on? Or will there be a new buddy reading starting anytime soon? If one is going to start sometime soon, when and which book?
I haven't been checking goodreads at all for some time now except to just try to keep a record of the books I'm reading or want to read, so sorry for not being caught up with this group, the only group that I ever had any kind of emotional investment on this website. I hope that I can become active again here over time. Assuming that this group isn't dead, or that the active users haven't all migrated to another, more exclusive group and I'm left out of that.
Also, I hope everyone has a great new year and more importantly, a great new decade.

This thread has been inactive for a while now, mostly because the members are busy with studies or work or both.
I hope it becomes active again soon.
Although, at present, I’m busy with finals myself, they’ll be over in about two weeks and I’m planning on coming back after they do.
Until then, hope someone else is available.

And it's so much short that I don't think we even need to divide the chapters and all. It's standalone fantasy, full of amazing quotes and stuff... There's movie too based on the book. And well... It's bohat achi. So vote, people?

I've read The Little Prince a long while ago. It's amazing and yes it's full of great quotes and many lessons..Everyone must read it..👍
But I'm voting for The Educated..😅
Umm. Idk if it's a crime to go against my own suggestion....but I was hoping I we could start with The Little Prince . It's a short book and is perfect for these 12 days of January. And educated can be for February. @Ahmed , it's such a cool book you'll love re reading it XD

I read the little prince sometime back would love you go through your discussion. it got a bit slow in between and I had to power through the book. looking forward to your discussion which hopefully will be in this thread.

Plus, do tell which sayings or stuff or sentences did you like... All grown ups were once children - although few of them remember it.
There's a thing I need to say about author, ab I don't know if should tell my observation now or when we are done reading. Maybe I should let you people read it, first haha.
@Ahmad- 1st spoiler - That's so true, like author said in the very beginning that he'd talk about his paintings to other people, when they won't get it, he'd *bring* himself to their level and then would talk about ordinary things.I wonder how many of us, like the author don't share our opinions or ideas with others and grown ups. And then there is fear of being judged too. So we try to go with the flow... We try to blend in, no?
