I think I am done with the book. The book ended abruptly and I was hoping for something more. Could somebody tell me the last line of the book so that I can be sure that my version of the book is not incomplete?

*High five* me neither.
Oh no, it's not a historical stuff. On the contrary, it's futuristic. It was published in 1949 and the book is on a nightmare that author had about future (that being 1984). :)
Nigham wrote:And I have read first few lines :p

It's not historical, its totally dystopian and it still feels like, its written about the future world.
I was busy so couldn't read more than 30% ...but I'll resume now...@Narjis aap PTI waali hn na...do you relate any character of the book with some current political figure?
YARRRRR!!! I have not even properly started it yet. I'm out. I'll read it when I get time. Can't be here next month because mids. OMG I'll die from the pressure.
Ahmed wrote: "@ElsaGood luck for the mids!"
Thank You!!

Han han jala lo mujhe :'(

@AbdullahIf we see in Pakistan, Big Brother is pretty much like Army. Hope you have understood why. ;p
Basically, I am not on anybody's side in politics. To be honest, I loathe it! It's the root cause of LOONG arguments in my family. Whenever my father or uncles take side of any political figure and begin to argue on it, I can't sit there. :/
Abdullah wrote: "I was busy so couldn't read more than 30% ...but I'll resume now...@Narjis aap PTI waali hn na...do you relate any character of the book with some current political figure?"
I have related to one political personality above :P but it was more because of name resemblance.
As a political environment, it's not only about politics of Pakistan but all over the world, the politicians are control freaks like Big Brother. The Hunger Games, Divergent, Uglies and many other books have such future where ruling body controls everyone with cruelty.

So yeah, tell me about family differences when it comes to politics.

I won't give any opinion because I don't have any interest in politics... :)
