Yup he was born in India...it was in the intro of the novel...he came back to England after one year and then after completion education went back again to India as officer ...but then he decided that he wanted to be a writer so he came back to England and became a proper writer.

Bas yahi intro hi parh Kar thak gya Tha...abhi Tak proper novel start nhi kiya except a few lines :')

Yup! And his birth name is Eric Blair, spent 4 and a half years working for the Indian Imperial Police in Burma.
I read somewhere that 1984 is one of the world’s most universally acclaimed novels and is loved and hated in equal measure. :v

Yup. I read Animal Farm last year. It was an amazing read! I loved it very much. That's why my hopes are very...actually, super high for 1984.
