Elsa Qazi | 741 comments Guys, do we start giving our views about the novel or do we do that later on??

Elsa Qazi | 741 comments What's your take on Jake?? I have an uneasy, creepy feeling about that guy, blehhhhh, and the worst part is I can't shake it off...

I have very strong feelings about him. BUT they are all negative!

Yess . But I won't be judging him so quickly

message 2771: by Ahmed (new)

Ahmed Ejaz (ahmedejaz) | 1783 comments I just can't think anything positive about Jake! Even though, apparently, he seems to care for Emma and Aiden.
Maybe he cares for Emma but for Aiden, I don't think so.

Has anyone read Rob's role yet?

Bishwaraj Dey | 104 comments @Ahmad - Isn't that a typical human behaviour? We as a reader may sympathize with Aidan and Emma. But don't you think that allowing Aidan (whose psychological state isn't obvious) near a newly born child a risk?

My uneasiness is much more than that. He seems to be taking control of Emma as well. Though I know that he helped Emma from depression. Everything about them as a couple reflects what Jake likes.

I kinda like and dislike Rob at the same time. He is sensitive about Aiden (duhhhhhhhhhhhhh). But I really kinda feel that he is a douchebag

Nigham | 4042 comments I second Elsa, it's tooooo early to draw conclusion, but writer mentioned that Jake was Emma's teacher... which means he was present in the school when flood hit, and kid went missing, no? O.o

Today, I read about it. I didn't like how he always shows her she is alive because of him.
Let's see how he would turn out. But as far as I have read him today, I think he is being framed for Aiden's situation. His FB pic on Newspaper and stuff. What you think?

I don’t like Rob much. Only his actions are understandable. My main problem with him is, he doesn't sound like he is an army soldier, does he?

message 2781: by Elsa (new)

Elsa Qazi | 741 comments Seriously! I hated him for telling her over and over again that he "picked up the pieces" and shit. I mean, like shut up, she got her own problems to deal with.

message 2782: by Elsa (new)

Elsa Qazi | 741 comments Yas he doesn't!!!!! he sounds like an immature brat sometimes. Although I love the way he is around Aiden.

message 2800: by Elsa (new)

Elsa Qazi | 741 comments @Bishwaraj I find adhering to the schedule so hard. I am on a break from reading this book in particular. So that they can come with me. I feel bad about reading so much now.
