Well this was one twisty and turvy. Often do we find in movies killers interestingly 'innocent' and well-justifying. Also the colossal damage is overlooked.
This is the second face Japanese art often talks about: there's a dark and light face to everyone; and it's upon us to pick what side of coin in others in judging them (if we should).
Deep down they were all seemingly innocent as they were pushed to corner by certain happenings in their life; their out-of-hands crude emotions; not everyone can control them and there always is a tipping point, after which it just gives way, resulting in astonishing acts at their hands, moments when those once kind-hearted people turn to their dark side. This novel was all about it. <3
P.S: People must watch: "A Tale of Two Sisters" movie, Korean version, after this. (Although it's somehow only half-related, but there are extreme emotions and high unpredictability involved).
Okay Officially we are done with the book of current month, I was thinking let's read some pakistani book in the month of August... What do you people say??? So start suggesting any book and then we will conduct voting.
P.S book should be available in soft copy and its availability is the responsibility of the person who suggested it.

I guess related to pakistan's history or current affair will make it boring, Pakistani author will be a good choice in my opinion. Lets see what other thinks.

Yaar there is only one book left in the list as you have indirectly eliminated the others. :p
If you are taking votes for the book, then I think there should be some more books in the list to vote. Otherwise, for now, it seems we will be reading Exit West. :p
What you say?
Umm I didn't know about sand and ash that it's not a Paki besides there are two books one urdu and one English ki. :p I gave five days for suggestions of the book. Only a few suggestions were made. :p if you feel like so then OK suggest a book I will add in the list make sure you own soft copy of it... :)

Yeah well... maybe someday...

Once Zarish suggested Kartography by Kamila Shamsie. You guys can read that book?
But Amna, Narjis, Abdullah and me has already read that one. I will reread with you people, I guess.

my vote is for "exit west ". but I have heard that "the reluctant fundamtalist " by mohsin Hamid is also a good book . and we have got other authors like Bapsi Sidhwa ...

I think Exit West has more votes. Let's start it from today or tomorrow.
By the way, who is making the schedule? You @Aakash?
@Abdullah
How was your test?
