I was having this idea that from next month onwards there should be no voting. One person should suggest a book and we all should read it.
We can go alphabetical wise.
This way we can explore different genres experience different tastes in books and not just read what we think we are going to like and take a chance ?
What do you guys think?

Some rules:

we select a book but dont just jump right into it. atleast give it 3-4 days rest, so that we can wind up our current

reads. and start this book

This will also give us time to analyze the book. We dont just select tasks on daily basis, dont feel right before

starting the book we should analyze how many paegs/chapter than divide that say 7-10 days depend upon the

book. so we know what is to read on daily basis. if one miss something he/she can catch up.

Discussion should be SPOILER FREE. last review/discussion can be SPOILERY but with proper cautions.

Also dont want this to be something pressure, that i have to read. I and almost everyone one of read because we

want to read not because we have to.

Zarish Idea also good. But choice should not be way out of our comfort zone. we select the genre than one

person can select the book.

Also have another idea. like BOOK SPOLSION OF THE MONTH in which we read reletivily new book and

instead of daily or month division we divide the book in say whole in 3-4 parts than as we complet one part we

discuss it in detial and moves on to the next one.

ALSO MOST IMPORTNAT: our choise when we suggest a book try not suggest big thick book, because you

may want to read it, but if other's only reading it because of this buddy read, they should enjoy it too, as I'm slow

read. Read only 3-4 books in a month but big book will take my time the book which i maybe not even on my

TBR. just suggestion. we already suffer ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE phase.. big books. dont work

1. k we should go along with the group and try our best to be on the same plane with group.

2. Task will be give before hand so better note it down as you may not have time to come online.

3. This time we are reading Uglies !!! ignoring genre!

4. Next time One of the member will suggest any book of his own choice to be read in the next buddy read. [(suggest mean decide :P) And that book will be only suspended if more or half of the members disagree to read the suggested book!

5. As I guess, all of us are active members on gr and are interested in buddy reading so we will keep current number of members constant unless someone of us decides to leave.

6. We will go according to book not with month and other units. Content to be read in a day will be average neither too much nor less.
(If you find it less you can start another book along with it.)

and Zarish for what i mean by not in TBR, is not that it should get rejected but we need to suggest something that can be read in buddy read, means something to talk about, have some point. their are some book Good Book i read but i dont think i read them with other it would make sense. and we cant jump into a book as we select it,, need time. to wind up current read. so we can select a book before month start even between current reading process just have to select and finalize the book so that we can decide a date on mutal coordination. time that works with everyone...
