There is also an epilogue for this book, That Was Then, This Is Now and Tex is an epilogue for That Was Then, This Is Now... it’s kind of epilogue of an epilogue. The first book was ranked 38th and the second one, 97th … on the ALA’s Top 100 most frequently challenged books: 1990–1999.

The Outsiders, her first novel, was published in 1967 by Viking.
Once published, The Outsiders gave her a lot of publicity and fame, and also a lot of pressure. S.E. Hinton was becoming known as "The Voice of the Youth" among other titles. This kind of pressure and publicity resulted in a three year long writer's block.

Happy Reading!
A wonderful book about youth. Feelings of the teenager and kids. It was very lovely read not that classic but Still it comes in classic.

nope, you are right @ozair :)
here we ask a member to choose a book and then all of us read that book and comments and discuss wherever applicable. And there are daily tasks for the daily read as we do a single read each month. and that is all.
