Change of author name

Hello, I changed my book's author as it was incorrect, and now it thinks its not mine. I think it created a separate author profile as when I try to claim it, it says no.

Can someone please change my author profile name to P. Tempest instead of Tempest?

My books are Magelife,B00SPA212W, and Necromancy,B014JVLR2K.

I went to your page to make the change, but when I clicked on 'edit data' in your profile, it said that only you can make the change since you are a Goodreads author.

Huh. That is weird. It says to me only a librarian can do it.

Tempest, try editing your author profile, not the book profile, to P. Tempest, that will change the details on the books, if you change the books individually that will not work.

Otherwise contact GR Support as they are the only ones that can edit an GR Author profile

As the books were published under the name P. Tempest, that is the primary author name and we can't change that.

Because there is already a P. Tempest profile, you cannot change your profile back to that name. Both profiles have to be merged by staff.
