How do books get tagged?

This is more of a question than an issue: I notice that some books get tagged as Cyberpunk, a category/sub-genre some of my books fit in. How do I get my books tagged that way? Is it something that happens automatically using Amazon's data?

No, Goodreads does not use Amazon's data. Members name their own shelves and place books on them - as many "non-exclusive" shelves as they wish. As members begin to shelve your books, you will see this happening. You can shelve your own books this way, which will help those designations be seen.Librarians cannot really help you with this issue.
