Hey! Thanks for being willing to do this with me!
Okay, so, are you okay with all of the foundation (like three characters each, college setting, etc.)?
I was thinking I would personally play two boys and a girl, and you could play however many boys/girls you wanted to?

^.^ I was looking to start a new 1x1 anyway so
Yep yep fine with all of those!
That works fine for me! I think that means I'd play two girls and a boy? Unless all three arcs aren't romance-inclined or if we have an fxf or an mxm. I think I'd like to do some siblings, what do you think? Like maybe twins and we each play one?

You can play any amount of either gender, it doesn't particularly matter to me? I definitely think we should have some bisexual, homosexual feelings going on between a few characters and a pair of siblings would be fun too! Let's do that for sure.
Would you prefer a situation with fxf or mxm?
If we want too, we can always throw in new characters as their lives develop and what not.

Okay! For the siblings do you prefer two brothers or two sisters or sister/brother?
Hmm I'm fine with either but I think fxf isn't done so often so maybe that?
Yeah, sounds good to me! So do these characters know each other from before college, like did they grow up/go to high school together or did they meet in college and become friends there? Assuming we're having a friend group, we could also do something else where not all of them are necessarily friends.

I like that idea! fxf it is.
I think, some of them should have known each other from before college, but, possibly not all of them? I think having some back story with a few of them would be nice though. Like maybe four of the six, or even five new each other prior to the whole friend group? And there could definitely be some drama between them all.
Okay, so, if I'm taking two guys and a girl, the girl would be a lesbian, right? So you would have the other girl too? I think I'd prefer to play the twin brother, unless you have a certain preference?
I dunno, it's kind of hard to create the various relationships with the drama and all that until we have a characters, so, maybe we should decide who doesn't get along and who gets along well after we create them all?

Alright, sister/brother it is!
I think four of them should know each other from before and the other two or maybe roommates of some of them or something? So the twins would be two obviously, and then maybe one of them is dating or used to date one of the others in their friend group?
Yeah all of that sounds good. I think I'll have my girl be bi? And yeah that works fine, I'll take the sister then.
Yep I was thinking the same thing! Maybe create basic outlines for them and then discuss details about their relationships and all and we can either add it in or whatever.

Oh, before that though, do you want the twins to have like phonetically similar names? And are all six of them the same age or within an age range?
Ahhh, I'm excited to create all these characters!
I don't think their names need to be simialr, but if you want them to be, I am completely okay with that!
That all sounds perfect. With the ages, I think we could have them all around the age of twenty, and call it good with that?

Me too! :D
I think it would be cute if their names had some connection but it doesn't really matter either way. I'm thinking of naming my twin either Finley or maybe Octavia, but I'm leaning towards Finley. But I definitely think we should check for their face claims so they look similar?
Yep that sounds good!

Oh, I really like Finley! That name is adorable. I like the idea of having similar names. We could have his be something like...... Frank(ie), or Francis, or Flynn, or Flint. Or we could do more of a similar ending, with the "ley", like Wesley, or Bentley, Charley, etc. Or by another way? Or not at all? What do you prefer?
We should definitely have their face claims similar too. I mean, like, similar enough, you feel?
It would be more fun to have a wide range of personalities between them all, so, are there any specific personalities that you usually roleplay or desire to claim for your characters?

Thanks! And I like the idea of the similar ending with they "ley" sound. I actually love the name Wesley, i think it would be super cute with Finley! but obviously it's up to you, he's your character.
Haha yep. Did you have any ideas for his fc yet? I was thinking Gabriella Wilde for Finley, what do you think? I could totally change it up depending on how you wanted the brother to look. And also, is there anything specific you'd like their surname to be?
True. Hmm. Well, so far I have only general vague ideas for all of them. There's Cassidy, he's introverted and reserved and just kind of a shut-down type of person, not easily fazed or ruffled, but also kind of odd and people often don't understand him. But I was thinking of making him a pianist. He's also a bit of a loner and really mellow, but super smart in a quiet way that people don't notice.
Finley is kind of a loud, explosive sort of person, always full of energy and excitement, really high strung and social and kind of a wild child. She seems really fierce and independent and fearless, but she struggles with insecurity and anxiety. She's bi, but she keeps this a secret from everyone and sleeps with a lot of guys to make sure no one ever even comes close to suspecting.
Then Giselle (not sure about the name yet), the obsessive perfectionist. Super driven and focused and hard-working, serious, doesn't know what quitting means. Book-smart, but not terribly good with people and emotions and all that. I was thinking she has a bunch of younger siblings so she's used to taking care of people and is very protective and loving, looks out for her friends in a mother-ish way.

Oh, that's actually good, because Wesley was my favorite of all of them! Wesley and Finley? That sounds adorable.
I've been looking, but, I haven't quite found one I like. He should probably be somewhat blonde, considering Gabriella is, so, it shouldn't be too hard to find a match that I like! I'll keep looking.
Ahhhh, those sound like very dynamic characters. It will be an interesting mix, you know?
What I'm thinking for mine, I'll have Savannah, Wesley, and Jameson (who would go by Jamie). Savannah would be the type of person who truly has no filter. She would say and do, well, whatever she wants to. She has that sort of spunky, I-don't-give-a-fuck vibe, and would always be the one up for anything and everything. She'd be pretty openly lesbian, but, you know, considering she's always up for some fun, she has never really shut down the prospect of boys. Then there would be Jamie, who would be the sort of thoughtful, considerate one, due to all he has been through. He never really opens up about himself, but he's always there to listen to others. He's the type of guy they go to for advice because he gets people and he understands shit and he likes the idea of helping people out. Of course, there is also the side of him that struggles with school and books and focusing on his own future. He also has a bad tendency to turn to substance for some release from all the emotions he holds in. Lastly, there is Wesley. Now, Wesley is the type of guy who has everything going for him. He's handsome, charming, and very clever. Going to college in hopes of making it into medical school one day, he somehow can balance studying, friends, and most importantly, girls. He's a bit of a manwhore and often has a girl hanging at his side. Of course, his downfalls are that he is pretty arrogant, can be rather selfish, and can't really relate to many of his friends struggles.

hmm maybe...Alexander Ludwig or Paddy Mitchell? Just some suggestions ^^ I'm awful at deciding on face claims.
It'll be interesting for sure! Your characters all sound great. What kind of thing were you going to say Jamie's been through? Because I was planning on making it so Cass used to have abusive parents before he was adopted by his uncle and that's why he smokes a lot and he's so shut-off, but that might make the two of them too similar? I could change that depending on what you're thinking for Jamie.
How are we pairing them up (unless we're not)? Finley & Savannah obviously, and then Giselle with one of your guys, but that leaves Cassidy and either Jamie or Wesley hanging. Just realized this XD
Oh, and last name for the twins? Anything specific you had in mind? Or what goes well with Finley and Wesley?

Oooohhh, I think Paddy Mitchell might be a good match. I guess, when I make them, I'll see who seems to fit the best?
Oh, yeah, that makes sense. We definitely wouldn't want thtem too similar. I like that for Cass's back story. Jamie's could be more of a death, sort of thing, then? Maybe he had a close friend die, or a traumatic accident or something like that? If you don't like that though, I can think of something less clique.
Hahaa, you're right, we do have a little bit of a couple issue there. I think, we could bring in side characters maybe? If not, we could also have some spicy interactions between the remaining ones.
Hmmmmm. Maybe something like Harper, Cooper, etc. I dunno, do you have a preference for any names? I don't care too much.

I think that would be great for Jamie's backstory!
Sure we could do that. Or, we could each make another character? Unless you think four would be too many to handle. I'm fine with whatever you prefer ^^
I had the name March in mind. The March twins has a nice ring to it haha. I quite like the name Cooper too.

Oohhhh, March does have a nice ring to it. Let's do that.
No, no, I think four characters would be good. It would at least give us an opportunity for more relationships and plotlines.
So, if we both had one guy left, what should we add? Both of us create one more girl, maybe?

Alright then! And yeah I think that means each of us create another girl, so it would be:
Finley (calla) x Savannah (em)
Wesley (em) x Giselle (calla)
Jamie (em) x [my girl]
Cassidy (calla) x [your girl]
Unless you think it would make more sense to do Giselle x Jamie?
also I think that means I get one guy and three girls cause Finley's with Savannah. I don't really care though tbh so that works out fine. Do you have an idea for your fourth character yet?

I think with Gizelle, we should see how it works out? Maybe let the story decide for her? (Lol actually, let's wait until your other girl to see?)
If you don't want three girls and one boy, we can definitely figure something out!
Hmmmmmm. I'm thinking her name will be Juliet, and she'll be a sort of all around musical person. Perhaps, she's the sort of peace maker, who gets along with everyone, and just kind of brings the groups chill level up. She is gentle and pleasant, sweet and caring. Perhaps, she'll be really into instruments, maybe specifically the cello, or guitar or something? People come naturally to her, even though she is more of an introvert. What do you think? Have you decided anything?

Lol okay :)
And no I'm fine with what we have!
Aww she sounds super sweet. And Cass is musical too which is perfect! For my fourth character I'm thinking her name will be Diana/Dianna (not sure, which do you think is better?) and she's kind of a tough chick who doesn't take shit from anyone and walks around with a take no prisoners attitude.. She was abandoned as a kid and then kicked around in america's grand old foster care until she aged out, so she's super independent. She has a big temper and she never forgets a grudge. Super stubborn, super intense and fierce, moody and angry a lot of the time. She's dyslexic and has a lot of trouble with school. She's very sharp-tongued and can sometimes be unkind, but the most important thing about her is that she is who she is and she never pretends otherwise. No posturing and no conforming.

Oh, I really like her! She will add a spunky twist to the group.
I think if we put Wesley with her, it would be a pretty..unexpected couple, you know? It might be even more interesting that way, though, her personality would definitely seem to go with Jamie's better. What do you think?

Haha thanks!
Yeah it would for sure. I was thinking of making her the type of girl who goes through a lot of guys and always dumps them brutally, you know, messes with them for a while before biting off their heads when she gets bored of them. Which would be interesting with Wesley cause you did say he's a bit of a manwhore. But then again with Jamie we could do the opposites thing, cause they're so different. Like we could have it so her and Jamie are really close friends and he knows about her track record with guys and both of them know it would probably be a bad idea to start something. And I feel like Giselle and Wesley would be fun to play off against each other. We could do either, which do you think would be better?

Let's do Gizelle and Wesley, then Jamie and Diana(or Dianna? I trying I like one n better, if you want my opinion haha). I'm excited for these! So, since we have all of that sorted out, should we make short bios and whatever, with the pictures for each person?
Yep let's! I'm at school now but I'll get them up soon when I get the time!
(Jameson Weller)"Sometimes to stay alive,
you just gotta kill your mind."
(Straight - 21)
Troubled, complex, mysterious, reserved. Long ago, Jamie used to be all about life. He used to find joy in getting wasted with his friends and ending up laying beside some beautiful stranger. He used to be the type of person who would spill out jokes from his lips, growing louder with each drink, and each watching face. Not anymore. After the accident, Jamie changed. He stopped going out. He stopped trying to capture attention. He stopped losing himself for joy and amusement. He traded getting drunk to the sound of blasting music, to getting drunk alone with the only hope of drowning out his thoughts. Pulling into himself, he became quite more introverted, spending more and more time doing things by himself and for himself. He stopped picking on other people to fill his own self esteem and instead, focused on other people. He started actually listening and actually watching and began to see how the world worked. The accident shattered who he thought he was and now? Well now, he's just picking up the pieces.
(Wesley March)"I'd give up forever to touch you."(20 - Straight)
Wesley is one of those people who can juggle eight balls. He can focus on five different things at once and excel at all of them. Clever, intelligent, and quick minded, he does well in school and devotes just enough time to easily pass all of his classes. He's always had a good mind and therefore, doesn't have to do as much studying as one would expect. Being rather charismatic, everyone loves him. He's the type of person who can make you feel like you're the only person in the world who matters. He can make you feel almost any emotion, and well, can easily manipulate people. Ever since he was young, he found joy in chasing after girls. Oh, he lived for the chase. Wesley could go from being the life of the party, to seeming like he was a gentle, considerate fellow. He really knew how to wrap girls around his fingers. Truthfully though, the things he really cares for are his sister and his future. There isn't a single thing he wouldn't do for Finley, despite the fights they have and the way they tease each other. There is a heart somewhere in him, there just is a part of him that doesn't want to get hurt, so he hides it beneath a million other layers. Wesley has a strange loyalty to everyone in their friend group, and he truly does care for each and everyone more than he has ever expressed.(Olivia Piper)"You're ripped at every edge,
but you're a masterpiece."(19 - Straight)
Gentle, quiet, and a bit aloof, Olivia is a little sweetheart. She spends the majority of her time, tucked away in her room, disappearing into her music and art. She's the type of person who seems to have a very wise understanding of human nature, though, she isn't always the best in social situations. She always has one instrument or another tucked beneath her arm, and music flows through her apartment rather often. Whether she's strumming away on the guitar, or humming softly as she paints a picture, one always knows when she is around. She's the type who hangs lights all around her room and always has paint on her arms, or her cheeks. She finds joy in the little things in life and cares deeply for her friends. If someone needed anything, she would very willingly give it to them. You just kind of have to love her, you know? She had a pretty regular childhood, with a single mother who worked two jobs. They had been humble and happy, no matter the circumstances. Her mother had a lot to do with the warm way her daughter turned out. Olivia feels as if she owes her mother her life. More often than not, Olivia will shut out her own feelings, simply putting them into her music or art, while she tries to make everyone else happy. She just believes everyone deserves happiness.(Charlie Bunt)"Exhale her oxygen, she burns like
heroin. Now she's in me and I can't let her go."(20 - Homosexual)
Charlotte Bunt. Now that was the poster Christian child. Every Sunday, she had sat on the bench at church with her hands folded. She had fit the perfect imagine her parents had tried to build. Every week, they would be seen, quiet, respectful and attentive. Everyone knew they were religious. Everyone knew they were good, solid people. Her parents would be seen at every volunteer event and community project. Girl scouts, student council, volunteer at the humane society - well, you name it, and Charlotte had done it. People loved her. People loved her easy going attitude, her seemingly flawless selflessness. They felt comfortable around her holy presence. Of course, no one knew what was happening behind the mask she put up. No one knew that she was struggling with things she could speak to no one about. No one knew that she was unhappy. She was one big secret, one unbreakable porcelain doll. That is, until Grace came into her life. Instantly best friends, in Charlotte's Senior year, she spent almost every moment with the outgoing, spontaneous Grace. It was Grace who had brought her to that party that night. It had been Grace who had grabbed her waist and told her that she loved her. It had been Grace who had kissed her in the middle of the dance floor, forever changing her life. It had been Grace who hadn't cared that half their grade saw, and soon half their grade would know. It was Grace who showed Charlotte that there was so much more to life than an ancient book and rules. There was fun and joy, pure joy that couldn't even be described. Charlotte had turned into Charlie that year and finally developed into who she really was. She started having fun and experiencing life. She accepted herself and now, now she doesn't care what anyone thinks. It doesn't matter that her parents hardly talk to her. It doesn't matter that she broke the perfect image everyone saw of her. Charlie decided to live for herself, so, well, she does.
Dianna Southwark
• (nicknames) Di, Anna, Princess
( leaf-green eyes | wavy dark brown hair | 5'2" )( approximately 21, birthday unknown • heterosexual )Dianna is many things, but first and foremost she is always and completely herself. With Dianna, what you see is what you get. She will never pretend to be anything she's not, simply because she couldn't possibly care less what others think about her. Stubborn and proud, sometimes to the point of bull-headedness, Dianna does what she wants whenever she wants without much regard for the consequences. Fierce and tough as she is, with her unforgiving nature, knife-edged tongue, and swift-burning temper, she can often come off as harsh and unkind. It's not that she doesn't care about other people's feelings. She does. But Dianna has been virtually alone for most of her life, and as a result she's not the most compassionate or friendly of people. She's always had to look out for herself in a world where no one really cared whether she lived or died, much less whether she was happy. If she wanted something, she had to fight for it. Abandoned by her mother at birth, she was kicked around the foster care system, one home to another, never belonging anywhere. Often, she would run away and live on her own, just another ragged street kid, before the police found her and she was sent to yet another foster home. She had nothing of her own, not even a true name—Dianna Southwark is a name given to her as a baby by a kind social worker. She doesn't even know how old she is, really. Over the course of her life, she's suffered abuse at the hands of more than one stranger, and did Dianna ever learn to fight back. Maybe that's why she goes through guys like changes of clothes. Just over five feet tall though she might be, but Dianna more than holds her own. Moody, defensive, and angry at the world, Dianna is not easy to get along with. Quick to hold grudges and slow to forgive, suspicious of everyone and a cynic at heart, she keeps everyone at arm's length. She can't really relate with most people either. Perhaps what makes her so difficult is that she meets everything with her fists up, but it's also this same quality that's helped her survive. However, even if she's not the best at expressing it, she does care fiercely for her friends. Maybe more deeply than even she knows.brilliant green eyes and a spine of steel

• (nickname) Noor
( black eyes | straight ink-black hair | 5'9" )( 19 • heterosexual )Mira Noor Ali. Dutiful daughter, responsible eldest sister, obedient granddaughter, loyal friend. Star student, valedictorian, de facto mother of her siblings, caretaker of her elderly grandfather, primary earner of her family, the one to shoulder the brunt of her parents' expectations. Day to day, Noor slips on one role and then the other, somehow flawlessly managing far more than should be expected from any one person. Hers is a quiet sort of strength, the kind most people pass over without ever realizing its beauty. Caring and selfless, loyal to a fault and ever the protective mother bear, Noor looks after everyone and everything. In making sure she keeps everyone from her family to her friends happy, Noor rarely thinks about herself, much less succeeds in getting what she wants. She doesn't even know what she wants. All she knows is that it's not this. Is it any surprise that she feels like she's drowning in an ocean of expectation and responsibility? Ahead of her stretches her life as her family has laid out for her: a lifetime of always giving without expecting anything of her own. Her immigrant parents with their eight children, having always struggled to make a home for themselves, now have a lot riding on Mira Noor's slender shoulders. She understands that. She wants to help. She wants to do her duty. But what will happen, she wonders, when she runs out of pieces of herself to give up? The fact that nothing in Noor's life has ever really been hers to decide has turned her into a bit of a control freak, an obsessive perfectionist who lines up everything meticulously and stresses over the slightest disorder. During the day she takes classes, during the evenings she works, during the nights she studies. Sleep is an afterthought. She doesn't have time for anything extra. She's got everything under control. But one of these days, she's bound to snap.you call it obsessive, she calls it perfect

Cassidy Lord
• (nicknames) Cass, Lord Cass
( gold-amber eyes | straight brown hair | 6'1" )( 20 • heterosexual )Cass doesn't talk about his life, and there's a reason for that. He was adopted at age nine by his father's younger brother, Elijah Lord, who works as a truck driver and has always kept Cass with him as he drove around the country. That's how Cassidy has lived since, his home the passenger seat in the cab of his uncle's truck, his uncle his companion and friend and parent. Cass's Uncle Eli, though not the most sentimental of men, has always done his best by his nephew, and to Cassidy he is nothing short of a lifesaver. In Cassidy's world there is only the before and the after. Brutally abused by his parents for years before a watchful teacher had the police showing up at their front door, Cass was sent to stay with his uncle, who agreed to take him despite his apprehension at being suddenly responsible for a child. Cassidy's parents were eventually convicted and are still serving their sentences in prison, but if anyone asks, Cass will say that they both died when he was very small. And all those scars he has? Oh...car accident, happened years ago. But the past eleven years under his uncle's care have done Cassidy good. He's never been to a proper school for longer than a few months at most, but he's been all over the country and learned a lot from his uncle on the road. Elijah never exactly taught him a lot of science or history, but name any instrument and he's taught Cass to play it. And all that time in the truck while his uncle drove turned Cass into quite a book lover. Certainly an unconventional schooling, but Cassidy's a hard worker and much smarter than he seems at first glance. Though still a little odd—quiet Cassidy Lord with his weird cat-yellow eyes—he keeps up in his classes and has his few close friends who accept him with all his moodiness and his quirks. Perhaps they can tell something eats at him, perhaps not. Outside of them he keeps to himself; crowds unnerve him. He smokes a lot when he gets upset, a habit that started when he was fifteen, and one his uncle hates but has only gotten worse. And he still has nightmares sometimes. For the most part, however, Cassidy is perfectly fine.we all have our nightmares
But some things you never forget.

Finley March
• (Nicknames) Fin, Finny (by Wesley only)
( dark blue eyes | wavy pale blonde hair | 5'5" )( 20 • bisexual )Overflowing with energy, Finley is the type of person others gravitate towards. Nothing seems to upset her. She's good at charming people; she doesn't mean to be manipulative, but like her brother she is a heartbreaker. She's always been the wild child, the firecracker, the girl people can't help falling in love with. Sweet and crazy, that's her. Her friends joke that she has a death wish, but they have no idea how right they are. Beneath her carefree smile and reckless charm is a girl nobody ever sees: a girl who will never be good enough. Born minutes after Wesley to parents who wanted only the one son, Finley has never lived in a world where she wasn't standing in Wesley's long shadow. To everyone else they're the golden March twins: brilliantly talented, blonde and beautiful, charming and popular, good at everything. They don't see how she struggles to keep up, how hard it is for her to do what is effortless to him. While Wesley always aced classes, Finley, diagnosed early with dyslexia, found school impossibly difficult. Where he had their parents' glowing approval, all she got was cold disappointment and dismissal. But how could she blame them? Even she knew he was better than her. Every time she looked at him, in the mirror when they stood side by side, in every photograph, she saw how he outshone her in every way. Without even trying. Without even noticing. And every day something inside her crumpled when he excelled at something and she didn't, and their parents asked her that question: Why can't you be more like your brother? She hated herself for it. She loved him more than anything. Didn't she want him to do well? What kind of awful person was she? The feeling that something was wrong with her only intensified when at fifteen she began to realize she wasn't straight. When at sixteen she was caught kissing a girl, her parents lost it. They wouldn't have a freak in the house. She told them it was a stupid experiment and wouldn't happen again. It wasn't Wesley's fault when she started cutting herself, or when she sliced open both wrists and he found her half-dead in the bathroom. After, when she was home from the hospital, her parents acted like it hadn't happened. Which was okay with her. She just wanted to forget, and so she did. She took up running, sometimes for hours every day, and hasn't touched the razor since. Nobody who knows her now suspects she is anything other than what she seems: perfectly happy.so you think you know her![]()
Okay, I promise, today I'll get to their bios!
I decided, to change the name of the girls.
Juliet -> Olivia
Savannah -> Charlie (short for Charlotte, though, she hates that name quite a bit)

No worries! I changed Giselle's name too, to Mira Noor.
Your characters are all amazing! i'm sorry i haven't finished mine yet, i'm working on the last two now :)
alright all done! let me know if something needs to be changed.
em, hey you there? Its alright if youre busy, just wondering if youve seen this.
I'm sorry! Ahhhh, life has been insane. Your characters look absolutely beautiful. I'm still interested in continuing this, I just might need a week or so to really get my life together. I'm taking a bunch of classes and I'm basically drowning right now - but I'll be alright!
Oh no worries! I totally understand. I'm a senior and there's so much stuff you have to juggle ugh >.<
Thank you by the way! I love all four of yours.
Take as much time as you need and good luck, I hope things work out!

Hey! You're a senior too? Woot woot!
I'm sorry it's been..almost a month? What the heck.
Life is so hectic. Fortunately, the tennis season just ended, so, I have a bit more time on my hands and if you're still interested in continuing this, I would love to start back up in the next week or so. Anyway, I hope all is well with you?

Yes I am! It's pretty crazy but I'm definitely glad this is my last year in high school.
XD don't worry about it! I hope things are better for you? That's so cool that you play tennis though ^^ tennis is hard. and yeah I'm still totally interested in continuing this if you are! I'm doing alright thanks, just stressed out and busy but what's new hah.
How do you want to start this? Did we first want to figure out how they're all going to be related, like the details and all?

Hey, I totally get the whole stressed out thing. Thank goodness I'll never have to do the whole, college search thing after this ever again. That's been the worst!
We should probably talk about all their relations. Of course there is Wesley and Finley, who are brothers. I was thinking, it would make sense for Wesley and Jamie to have met a party or something? Maybe met due to a girl they both banged or something stupid like that? And with Cass, he could be an even older friend to one of them? Maybe even Finley and Wesley? I have a few other ideas but, what do you have in mind? I think we can definitely get creative with how they all met.

Ugh same! now i just have to convince my parents to agree with me going away for college.
yeah that would make sense! I think we were planning that we'd have one or two childhood/old friend of the twins' weren't we? and since both Wesley and Finley seem to be the type for crazy partying and all, that works that Jamie would've met Wesley and by extension Finley that way. Maybe finley and jamie even had some sort of fling or something, something really short-lived that they broke off? it could've been years ago and now they're just good friends. just an idea, what do you think?
As for Cass, he's basically been a nomad with his uncle so i don't think it makes sense for him to have known the others before coming to university. I think the original pre-university friend group should be Jamie, Wesley, Finley, and...maybe Dianna? what do you think?

Oh, you're definitely right. It wouldn't make sense that Cass was part of the original group of friends. It would work having Dianna also be apart of it though, especially with her personality. I doubt she would really want to tag along with any of them if she hadn't already had all the history with them, you know? She doesn't seem like the type who would be fond of just becoming friends with seven other people out of the blue. I definitely like the whole fling idea for Finley and Jamie. Maybe they were young and after a short period of time, they realized there was no point in forcing it? possibly now, it's just a memory they all laugh about now?
For the others, do you think there should be any previous, childhood type of connections?
I feel like Olivia and Mira would get along pretty well, and so, maybe they are currently roommates who were randomly placed together? Something like that?

Yeah for sure. And it would explain why Dianna chose to come to this university, probably the other three talked her into it. And yeah sounds good for Jamie and Finley!
Hmm...i can't think of anything for other childhood connections at the moment but if you have something, I'm up for it.
Olivia and Mira Noor would definitely get along well. The roommates thing is good, they should be good friends! And i kind of think it would be fun if they shared a three-person room with Finley, because she'd always be dragging them out to have fun. And thats how they could've become part of this friend group, through Finley?
I think it would be more interesting if Charlie and Finley weren't roommates, just to throw some roadblocks between them lol, but we could definitely do something with them as roommates too.

Yeah, I agree that Finley and Charlie shouldn't be roommates. We just have to think of a way for Charlie to be connected to everyone and Cass now. Hmmm. Maybe, Cass and Charlie are cousins? Would that even work? Like, perhaps, they hardly knew each other in their youth, mostly because the extended family and Charlie's parents in particular, tried to ignore the whole incident with Cass's immediate family (only the uncle really accepted the reality of the situation and offered to take him under his wing), so they never really spent time together, until, Charlie's parents shut her out of their lives too, and she reached out to Cass and they ended up coming to the same college? Or nah? That's just an idea! With that, maybe Olivia and Cass have a class together, and it all kind of spirals from that? What do you think?
I really like that idea! Like Cass's mom could've been Charlie's mom/dad's (whichever you prefer) sister, and because Charlie's parent is super religious and the uncle is kind of a loner, and Cass's mom is pretty messed up, the three siblings hadn't been close. And Charlie would then be the only person who knows the truth about his parents.
Olivia and Cass are going to be really cute c:

Yeah, exactly! Perfect. Is there any other back stories we should create? Also, are their any of the relationships we already want developed, or, should we just start from scratch for all the couples (which I think would be more fun).
No I think we've got it down, yeah? Starting from scratch sounds good to me. So, just to straighten everything out, it's going to be:
Jamie X Dianna
Cass X Olivia
Noor X Wesley
Charlie X Finley
Finley and Wesley are twins obviously;
Finley, Olivia, and Noor are roommates;
Noor and Olivia are very close friends, met as roommates;
Charlie and Cass are cousins;
Jamie, Wesley, Finley, and Dianna have been friends since...does around ninth or tenth grade work?
Jamie and Finley used to have a short-lived friends with benefits type of relationship that didn't go anywhere, just close friends now;
Cass and Olivia take classes together
i think that's everything we decided on? do we want any of the others to also be roommates? we already have Olivia and Noor and Finley as roommates, but if we want to connect them all we could have Dianna and Charlie be roommates, and Cass and maybe Wesley? That way Cass and Charlie could get roped into their circle of friends too lol.

Yeah, all of that looks good!
As for the other roommates, I think Dianna and Charlie is a good idea, and definitely Cass and Wesley. Jamie could own his own place or something. It all looks good! I'm exciting to start this all out.

okay great! i'm so excited as well :D i think we're good to go, where are we starting with them?
Hmmm. Should we start at the beginning of the school year and have all the relationships fresh and new, like the roommate ones, or in the middle of the year at a party or something?
well i think even if we start at the beginning of the year they will all have known each other already because they're not freshmen, right? the youngest of them (the twins and Noor and Olivia) are already nineteen which means they're probably sophomores.
ahhhh, so, they'd all keep the same roommates from the year prior, making all the friendships between roommates already developed ?
I figured that's how it would work out, just because of the ages. But people do often change dorms with each year depending on the university so if that's what you prefer I'm fine with that!
