Athena nodded. "Rosewood is too evil." She said and shook her head. "But I Dom know about you. Maybe you could stay if both of us just didn't get in each others way." She looked over at Shadow with curious eyes.

"I made an alliance with Rosewood." Shadow replied "I have no business with you. But Rosewood is a cat to be feared, you don't want to get on her bad side."

Athena nodded. "I hope we meet in the future." She said. "Also, Rosewood doesn't make alliances. She makes future killings."

"True. But your either with her or against her." Shadow replied

Athena nodded. "I used to follow her around." She said. "Now I know that was a mistake. She's evil and ruthless. I wouldn't want to be with her."

"Suit yourself." Shadow mumbled "I don't have anything against you, or Rosewood for that matter, if you ever need some help..."

Athena perked her ears up. "Same with you." She replied. "This place will always welch you if Rosewood ever turns on you."

Shadow smirked "thanks. But just what are you going to do when Rosewood comes back?"

"Tell her she can't stay here anymore. She'll get mad and maybe attack me." She said with a sigh. "She'll have to leave, though."

"She might not kill you." Shadow mewed "yet. She probably just wants this place for her own."

Athena frowned. "She seemed fine without it." She growled.

"Then again. Since you brought the kit back to its clan, the mother will most likely want revenge." Shadow predicted

Athena nodded. "She did say something about her..." She thought aloud. "Shadow, you don't seem like the kind of cat to make an 'alliance' with Rosewood."

"You do what you have to do. Rosewood is the kind of cat I would rather have on my side then be my enemy."

Athena nodded. "True." She said.

"But then again I'm not really on anyone's side."

Athena nodded. "Maybe you could stay..." She said. "But then again, Rosewood actually might kill me if you stayed."

Shadow nodded, " I'm not sure what she's planing, but I know she'll remove anyone in the way."

"Then you better not get in her way." Athena said sternly.

"I'm not planing on it." Shadow replied

Athena nodded. She walked to the small forest at the edge of the plain and scampered up a tree. She laid down on a sturdy branch and scanned the camp. Her fur blended in with the changing leaves as she closed her eyes.

Shadow watched Athena leave before picking up her squirrel and started to eat it

Athena watched Shadow come in from the tree. She had seen the battle with Thunderclan a day ago and wasn't thinking about getting into all that stuff.

"That was quite scene you caused." Shadow mewed padding up to Rosewood

"You didn't cause much damage." Shadow stated

Shadow shrugged, "what is your next move?"

Athena twitched her ears as she listened to their conversation.

"She is troublesome." Shadow mewed

Athena gracefully jumped from the tree and walked casually over to the small cave, without making eye contact with the other cats. "I have a proposition to make." She said.

"I'm surprised you still keep her around."

Athena sat down. "We can all stay here if we stay out of each others' way." She told them, shooting a glare at Shadow. "But, do your torture and mind games elsewhere."

Shadow smirked at Athena but said nothing

Athena nodded. "Because they wont be trapped here." She said and smirked back at Shadow. "I can also help you steal that prey. I wont bring it back. Ive been doing that to Riverclan and Thunderclan for moons." She smirked and lashed her tail.

Athena smirked and looked around. "I suppose you two are lazy and worn out to do it now..."

Shadow flicked her tail and glanced at Rosewood

Athena laughed and walked over to the now smaller pile of kill in the cave. She looked down at it with a large sigh.

Shadow sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws

Athena nodded and laid down in the shade. "I enjoy your company." She confessed.

"Really." Shadow asked in disbelief "you seem to be against us."

Athena smiled and rolled her eyes. "It's true, though!" She exclaimed.

"Do you think the clan will come here?" Shadow asked "to get revenge?"

Athena shook her head. "This enclosure is too well hidden for those mouse brains they call warriors." She said.

"True. But the apprentice could lead them here. Or they could just follow our scents."

Athena jumped up and ran around. "That would be amazing to have kits of my own one day!" She exclaimes.

Athena stopped and blushed. "To tell you the truth, I've always wanted kits."

Shadow flicked her tail. She never really liked kits personally,

"That won't be hard." Shadow mewed "I spent some time in the two legged place. I can take you through it if you are willing."
