"It isn't Athena's anymore. She's in Starclan." Leaf said. "It's mine now."

"No." Leaf said and laid down on her belly.

Leaf thudded on the ground and smirked. She quickly stood up and raced between Starlight's legs back into the enclosure. "Don't be mean, now. Forest wouldn't like it if you hurt me." She said with a wink and climbed a tree. She laid down on a branch and smiled at Starlight.

"Athena said you would have to leave once her kits became independent." Leaf called down. "They seem pretty independent to me!"

Leaf smirked and leaped from the branch. She landed on the ground and laughed at Starlight. "You're pathetic." She spat and sat down. Forest would like her even more for making this their home.

Star looked up and frowned, what was Leafkit doing here? She wondered to herself. She was still sitting at Athena's grave. She pushed herself up to her paws and glared at Starlight as he walked out. "I hope he stays away." She grumbled to herself.

Leaf smiled at Star. "Me too." She said. "You can stay because this place was rightfully yours."

"What do you mean I can stay?" Star flicked an ear, "This is my home." She shuffled her paws, then peered curiously at Forest, hoping he hadn't seen Starlight storm off.

Leaf smiled at Forest and sat down. "I chased a nosy tom away." She said. "Your welcome."

Leaf turned to Star. "I wanted a place of my own, but I guess I want you hear too." She said.

Star frowned, but this was her home. Hers and her siblings. Speaking of, where was Smoke and Stream? Her expression grew worried and she studied her paws. She looked back up at Leaf, "What about your parents? Why do you not want to be with them anymore?"

Leaf shrugged. "Not sure. I don't like him, though." She said and licked her pelt.

"My parents..." Lead repeated and huffed. "They only mess around and have fun with each other. I want to be free."

Star stared at Forest for a moment, "Gone." She mewed simply and looked away.

"They're still your parents though," Star whispered to Leaf sadly. She missed Athena terribly, her paws trembled as she tried to keep them still. Star had no idea how she would support or lead her family without their mother.

Leaf sighed and nodded. "I miss Athena." She whispered and looked at her paws.

Athena appeared next to Forest. "I'm here." She said.

Smoke poked her head in and saw Forest and Star. She ran over to them and smiled, "Hi!" she meowed, she was excited to see them again.

Athena nodded. "She's afraid to let you love her." She said. Her voice came out sweet and nice, like a Starclan cat's. It had an echo though, not like before. "You can see me when it's time."

Star looked up at Smoke with relief, but that faded when she didn't see Stream with her. "Where's Stream? Did she not make it back from the ThunderClan?" Her eyes widened and she trembled slightly.

Smoke shook her head "I don't really know where she is, but i bet she made it back." She meowed.
